What do we need here vs raise and 3 bet?
Plus I think here, with 35 left, you need to make a play to get a big stack... Your edge isn't any good if you wait until you have 13bb and then double up on a flip anyway, back to where you started to crawl to the FT. Gg wp and next tourney. :)

What do we need here vs raise and 3 bet?
Just looking at this again and it looks like the 3bettor is using his stack to resteal. Seems like a cooler to me, your shove from the SB looks super strong IMO. I think you could justify a fold in this spot, considering you have no reads... Maybeyou could, but I'm happy with a shove there. I think 3bettors range is Ax, Broadway's, lower pairs a lot here, I think he flats most big pairs given stacks. Shove>fold>flat IMO. Again though, I'm not the best player going around.

What do we need here vs raise and 3 bet?
Sorry I missed the first part too, if we haven't been at the table long, and have no notes or reads on the players involved, I am thinking its a fold with anything but premium, AQ+ AJs+ and TT+... Maybe 99 at a pinch. If its a good or bad player and you know this you should have some sort of idea of their 3b/ resteal range from LP. Which can then assist in your decision. I'm not that good of a player though, so maybe someone has a different idea'

What do we need here vs raise and 3 bet?
I'm never flatting here pre, no matter the hand I have. Being OOP and if the original raiser flats the pot will mean it is basically a shove for him any flop, so it'd be just spewy IMO. 3 bettor is tight and rarely steals/resteals I'm probably shoving AQ+ TT+ If the 3bettor is LAG I'm probably looking at 88+, A8s+, A9o+, KQ+ and maybe KJs. A lot is situation dependent though. If I've been stealing and re stealing a lot, I'm tightening up a bit here probably, and also depending on how tight or loose the raiser and 3bettor are. I tend to find ranges etc are helpful, but if you've ...

VinceVegaMFR making a great call
Sure he sucked out, no doubt about that. Pretty gross way as well running 6s OTT and R. It isn't that bad though. You have a pretty good stack vs his for a steal. Anything less and its a snap call. I can justify both a call and a fold here in this spot by original raiser... A lot would depend on your image and his image though IMO.

Thoughts on the way i played this hand
Yeah I'm 3betting there every day of the week, against HJ raise and because you're OOP. If he calls 3b I'm firing all 3 streets for value, get him to call with his Ax Kx Qx hands that connected in someway. If he 4bets/shoves pre it would dependant on the player and his and your image if I call or not. As played I'm leading the turn hopefully to set it up for him to be all in on the river. I could be wrong' I'm not a great (probably not even good) player by any means.... Just my thoughts. Interested to hear others responses to see if I can change anything.

just a rant after a good session but nothing to show
Not looking for sympathy or even a reply lol. Just wanted to say I am sick of bad beats!!! As is everyone. It's all just variance, but for the last week I feel as though I am playing as well as ever.... but those crucial hands just aren't falling my way!!!! Even the ones (tonight there was 5) where I am at least a 65% favourite, 75%+ in 3 of them... absolutely makes you sick sometimes.... mind you, probably not as bad as some other peoples downswings Ahh well... now I can feel a little better..... A win isn't far away if I keep playing well and getting it in good!! as I Said I just ...

6 Months in brisbane
Enjoy Australia mate. Not from BrisVegas so can't help you unfortunately. However there is Treasury casion in Brisbane and Jupiters Casino on the Gold Coast (about an hours drive I think) - Not sure what their poker rooms are like but I would imagine they're going to be your best bets. Jump online on their websites and seeif they have anything. GL!

Could I get away from this on the river?
Hey guys, Here is a hand I am not sure on, I actually think I should jam on the turn' Or at least raise again' I think I had the opportunity to get away from it (maybe, i'm not that good'!') on the river... Not sure if I like my river raise now though... or even my flop raise' It's had me confused... I think would have been better to call flop, call turn and jam river' then again, I could be well off the mark' player was really active inr ecent times, this was the 5th hand in a row he opened and he was 34/26 over 25 hands... I had been pretty solid at around 18/15 over 50 hands... What ...

New Player looking for help!!!!
You need to make sure your looking for spots to chip up. It isn't always a "double up" and that's it. Which sounds like you might be waiting for in MTT with your "fade away" assessment. Look for steals, re steals, and thin value bets. Don't sit around waiting to make the nuts all day - how often does that happen' I'm sure there is more, but the best thing to do for this would be to review your HH after each session, maybe get someone else to review it for you if you can' Here you can possibly see where you're losing chips and spots where you can gain more. I'd recommend doing this ...

Shrugging of the bad beats
Man, I just laugh when I get a bad beat and think about all the times I've sucked out. It happens. People seem to easily remember when they get beaten, not when they suck out though. It's not about controlling emotions to me, its about not being emotional at all. It's part of the game, it happens, and there is nothing you or anyone can do about it, same work, someone might be sick and you need to cover for them, nothing you can about it, but you do it!

Introduction of myself!
Thanks to everyone for the replies! Nice to know people take the time to read this stuff! Hey man, That's my view as well, in an ever evolving game you should always be open to learning. It's pronounced "wogga" as well lol. The word "Wagga" means crow. Wagga Wagga means place of many crows. It's an aboriginal (indigenous Australian) word. They used to have a gay tourist campaign song with it as well: "Don't call 'Wagga Wagga' Wagga. Cause 'Wagga Wagga Wagga' is wrong." Thanks for the reply man. Thanks alun, Appreciate the support! Keep an eye on the profile, ...

Introduction of myself!
Hi everyone Not sure if many will read this. And I apologise if its too long, just wanted to provide some details to help reveal me as a person and wanted to introduce myself on here. Looking for Staker for Low/Mid stakes MTT grinding on stars n party
I haven't played much on PP to be honest, but have played very very regularly on stars now for a few months. Have a couple of decent 4 figure scores of late and would like to dip my toes into the world of staking. I've never been staked and am happy to provide you whatever info is required. I also would love coaching (if you are able to assist) to improve my game further. This is my first post here - so I apologise if I haven't put in all the required details' PM me if you would like to discuss.
