I'm in inside sales, so when I want to kill some time... I make calls like this. Persistence Pays. Calling Delta is out if you canceled with them, if you got trip insurance you can cancel these flight and book with another airline. Otherwise I woudl try dept by dept till they get fed up with you and give you something that you believe is comparable to what extra $$$$ u are going to have to spend.

Airline help needed...
good Job on the bitching phone call (not sarcastic). A strongly worded letter is exactly that just a letter. Anytime my flight gets canceled for some bullshit, crew over there hours, plane is falling apart, weather... the airlines always take care of you, especially if you have to stay overnight, hotel and food covered. I'm confused that they haven't done that with you. Of course I HATE American, pretty much only fly delta. Ideas for bachelor party for somebody who is a recovering alcoholic and drug user?
Just had this same situation one month ago, bach party for a guy who has been sober/clean for 5 years. It was 10 guys including him, we got a cabin in the mtns for a weekend. Skiied, partied, and had some strippers drive in from charlotte. Strip show cost roughly $1500, but after it was all said and done it was worth it. they put on a dildo show, gave the bach and anyone else some private time. PPl partied whole weekend, bach was fine... obviously not an ideal situation for a sober person, but it is what it is.
