Re(1): Online Poker bus to WSOP Such a great idea, Beanie. I bet LL2 complains the entire way, flips off 12 cars, 38 truck drivers, loses $5k on , gets pissed in Utah upon finding out they don't have scratchers, and inexplicably loses his accent. Damn Masshole. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Im a Terrible Heads Up Player HU is probably the only thing I'm good at. I either finish OTM in sngs or I win. I attribute this to playing hundreds of HU sngs on ultimatebet ranging from $5 to $50. One thing that surprises me is that you said your matchs have last an hour HU. There is no reason you should be putting away someone, especially if you come in even or with the lead, in 20 minutes. Things I would recommend, -Not calling too many raises out of position, not on the button, especially if it's pot size. I say this because it's much harder playing HU OOP, and if you miss the flop, you can be sure he's gonna ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Heads Up Cash Game Rake My advice, especially if you're a fairly tight aggressive player, is to notice if you're opponent is loose or a maniac. .25-.50 nl is definitely beatable, just against certain players. If you both are folding hands for 30 minutes, you're not going to win. Look for guys that are gonna get it all in with top pair or drawing, these are the guys you can break and double up on. Re(2): Legality of Online Poker Isn't online poker already illegal' Which is why pokerstars.NET exists, their commercials state "this is not a gambling site" and they emphasize "play free poker at partypoker"' Is there anyway they can truly BAN anyone from playing poker online' Clearly this is a subject I'm not too familiar with, hence the questions. Re(11): consumed by the game I totally understand. I'm pretty consumed by poker and I haven't enjoyed anywhere near the same success as a lot of you guys. It's just that when I hear people complainin about school, when college is something I miss so much, I don't quite understand. Obviously if I had made a ton of money through poker at a young age, my views might be different. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Stinger Owns After reading about the same people "owning" the same MTTs, as well as, players blowing off school, I'd like to give a huge shout out to Stinger885. Currently ranked 46th on the tournament leader board at extremetilt, and he's not even a "regular" MTTer, this includes 2 wins and 5 final tables on just UB. Destroying 10-25 nl and now playing 25-50 nl. (Was playing 1-2 6 months ago). Crushing Party cash games too. Going to Cornell next year to pursue engineering and to enjoy being young. Kid is wise way beyond his years, is a class act at the table, and is probably the most respected member ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(9): consumed by the game Apparently your guys' college is nothing like mine. I'd give up nearly anything to be back at UC Santa Barbara. F graduating. "School will always be there" but will the friends, girls, partying, countless stories, and the thousands of other things you learn, still be there' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(11): JJProdigy Fan Post Point taken, bud. I tilt in 2.3 seconds usually and have had my chat privileges on a few sites "warned", and sometimes that's after I've won. Defending what he did just seems unjustifiable to me, regardless of how much he won. Take care, sir. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): after due consideration Clearly I don't win that tournament. I'm awful. But on that day in that tourney, i broke even. Meanwhile JJProdigy lost the buy in. On that day, he didn't do anything with the cards he was dealt but finish in the 2000s. IF he doesn't have a 2nd account, the OTHER exact same cards don't even exist. THE FACT THAT HE LOST BUT HE WON IS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGE YOU CAN HAVE. I have a tendency to be very condescending, my apologies. And this wasn't meant to be condescending. =) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): after due consideration "JJProdigy won that tournament because of his superior poker skill not because he was cheating." Follow this logic apestyles, JJProdigy got knocked out in 2162nd place out of 3500 in the Party MTT for a grand total of $0. Close down PP, GG JJ. Wait, he gets another chance, despite being knocked out. Enter "ablackcar" who proceeds to finish in 1st and win $140k. Summary: JJProdigy < - - - - - this guy, this name, made $0. His superior poker skills are irrelevant at this point, he finished 2162. He then cheated and played under another account name. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
