Apple blames hot iPhones on weather; another Global Warming casualty?
Could this be a cop out by Apple or is this the newest GW poster child (i.e. polar bears on icebergs)' And before you all call me out on it I already know GW is not mentioned but it seemed like a catchy title ;) From Engadget: Apple blames hot iPhones on the weather, others find oleophobic screen to be fleeting' Don't worry, everybody, your iPhone baking itself to a crisp is no cause for panic, now that Apple has found the culprit: the weather and your heartless negligence. Apparently you've been leaving your brand new iPhone 3GS in a hot car, and the warm sensation you feel any ...

Re:Universal health care on the horizon?
"In a 2003 study conducted by UNICEF that took the averages from five different international education studies, the researchers ranked the United States No. 18 out of 24 nations in terms of the relative effectiveness of its educational system." control over education has worked out SO well that ONLY SEVENTEEN of the 24 major industrialized countries rank ahead of the US. Yep, I definitely want the government running my health care and deciding which procedures I need best satisfy the risk/reward formula because they have done a smash up job with our educational system...

Re:Whole House Audio Systems
How much are you wanting to spend' Under $10k' $5k' $3k' Do you need to buy everything (speakers, switch, amps, etc) or just some components' That will make a big difference in what I can recommend but my first thought would be to check out a company called control 4: . Its inexpensive compared to most other solutions and is very easily expandable.

Re:$5 on stars for TV buying advice
I install home theater systems as a side business so i can give you all sorts of great options but first I would need a few 's answered... 1. Primary use' Strictly for watching TV or will it be hooked up to a computer/gamin system' 2. How much natural light gets in the desired room' For what you want to spend answers to those two 's can really make a difference in my experience.

I wonder if the people who live in the state of Washington think the same thing' Oh wait...what's that' A state ran by liberals made online gambling including poker "a Class C felony, equivalent under the law to possessing child pornography, threatening the governor or torturing an animal'!'!'!" Violating the law "carries stiff penalties: as much as five years in prison and a $10,000 fine''!!'" ** OMG OMG OMG...HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN WITHOUT EVIL REPUBLICAN INVOLVEMENT''!!' Quit the partisan BS...both parties screwed us over. Libertarians FTW!!!! **

Re:$25 ----> $1000 in ten days?? Easy?? Hard?? Hustle??
Guy I chat a lot with on skype has gone from about $30 to nearly $2k in about three days playing mostly SNGs starting at $5s and $6.50s all the way up to the $60s. He has also played some 2/4NLHE and ran pretty damn well. So like everyone else has said...as long as you run pretty well this should be easy.

Best setup for multi-tabling?
This one imo...I'll take two :) CineMassive OmegaPlex: 27.6 million pixels for $12,995 by Darren Murph, posted Oct 23rd 2008 at 7:37AM Funny story -- just under three years ago, we all thought six 24-inchers latched together in a swanky multi-monitor setup was the real heat. Nowadays, it takes a real beast to even catch the ever-wandering eye of we geeks, and while the CineMassive OmegaPlex isn't a HIPerSpace, you won't need a government loan and a damn good research proposal to claim one as your own. Boasting 27.6 million pixels and a total screen resolution of 7,860 x 3,600, ...

Wait...there's still a football team in Kansas City' I thought they were swallowed up in Carl Peterson's black hole of a 5-year super bowl plan..... Honestly though, Edwards by a long shot. Just watch the Chiefs/Raiders game and you will see why. Proof of point, my dad has 4 tix to the next home game and he can't even GIVE them away....$25 parking and $8 beers definitely dont help draw the fans in.

Re:Dave Ramsey weighs in on the bailout
Like most of you my big sticking point with this is definitely part 1. As a responsible home-owner with an interest rate over 6% I am definitely against giving those who were irresponsible in their borrowing a break. To solve my problem here all that would need to be done would be to raise that interest rate to 7.5%. I would wager that the VAST majority of people who are responsible borrowers have rates lower than this. Obviously points 2 and 3 are no brainers imo...too bad the words "tax cut" are nearly heresy in the democrat controlled congress....

Dave Ramsey weighs in on the bailout
As far as economics are concerned I trust this guy way more than ANY politician. If you feel that this solution is more in line with what you think needs to be done please forward it on to you senators and representatives: The Common Sense Fix Years of bad decisions and stupid mistakes have created an economic nightmare in this country, but $700 billion in new debt is not the answer. As a tax-paying American citizen, I will not support any congressperson who votes to implement such a policy. Instead, I submit the following threestep Common Sense Plan. I. INSURANCE a. Insure the subprime ...

Re:Alaska Gov Sarah Palin is McCain's VP pick
LOLOLOLOL @ all the people bringing up her lack of experience. If this election were being based on executive governing experience she would be more experienced than Biden, Obama and McCain combined (2 years vs Zero years)! Either way, she has just as much experience as Obama in politics and, imo, because she is a governor is just as qualified or even more qualified to be president than Obama is. I find it extremely hypocritical that dems are railing against her lack of political experience when they have nominated a candidate who is probably the least experienced, serious, candidate to EVER ...

Re:Question for Republicans
I can't think of a good example off the top of my head for the repubs but a really good one from last year was the dems pushing a type of "fairness doctrine" for broadcast media. Basically they seemed upset that conservative talk radio was DOMINATING airwaves while AirAmerica was an absolute flop kept alive only because of the deep pockets of its liberal investors.
