Re:Downswings between EV and Actual outcomes Unfortunately, this component determines your bottom line more than any other. I would like to know if a tool exists to determine if your outcomes fall within a normal range for randomness' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Downswings between EV and Actual outcomes / Tool to determine randomness For those of you that keep track of differece between Actual and Expected outcomes of all ins, how nasty have these been for you' I have a graph of my last 150k hands, but my last 160 all ins have been pretty rough for me. Is there somewhere I can look to figure out how likely a swing like this is gonna happen' and why when I look back at my older PT data, similar swings like this don't happen to the upside' Thanks Posted in: Poker Discussion |

When can you prove your bad luck is not really luck at all? Hold 'em Luck is a nice tool to see how well you get your money in good. Are there any tools that can calculate how probable it is that your results are not random' Thank You, SQQTED Posted in: Bad Beats |

Re:The Rags to "Riches" Grind. What's Your Story? I remember losing with AA 5 times in a row with successful isolations. I think we both can agree online poker is corrupt. I do too well playing live to believe all the online bad plays I lose to have a long-term edge against me. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Pokerstars is starting to get on my nerves BADBEAT after BADBEAT. Just UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Same problem, usually play over 8 hours a day. The streaks of bad beats happen the majority of the time. I wish I could have some streaks where I get my money in good and actually make a little money. I would love to have a statistical guru show me that my results follow a normal distrubution of Expected Values. My bad run last night is how things usually go for me: Posted in: Bad Beats |

Re:PokerStars is corrupt I know I have quit poker before, but until online poker is regulated and safe I do not trust ANY online site with any significant amount of money. I can't fathom in my head how somone can lose so many hands in such a short amount of time. I admit I was getting very tired toward the end and should have just quit as I was playing pretty bad. I did not want to have anything more to do with rigged online poker so I decided I would keep moving up until I either win a hand or lose it all. Posted in: Bad Beats |

PokerStars is corrupt I used to play higher stakes online but for a long time have been playing very low and even play money poker for some time. I am very TAG and will almost always be ahead when playing a hand. I do run into KK vs AA, Overpair vs Set, etc. just like everyone else. I have lost trust in every poker site and have only been playing on PokerStars since they seem to be one of the few departing ties from the KGC. I have been running like god when playing play money and so so when moving to penny tables. I have been playing a live 1/2 NL with some good players and my last two sessions I ran two $60 ...
