Article: Online Poker Players React to U.S. Crackdown They are operating a company providing services to U.S. players, they are not U.S. based companies but do owe taxes for operating in the United States and generating an absurd amount of revenue illegally. Don't kid yourself that they are "busting them for breaking laws to pay us". They are busting them for bribery of banks, money laundering, and outright fraud about financial transactions. I repeat any other company busted like this and we'd be fine with DOJ's decision here. They are criminal organizations, and lied to protect earnings from the U.S. government and helped to protect tax revenue that online poker players fail to pay to the U.S. I know we should all be able to play poker legally, but Tilt allowing me to send 10k to anyone without filling out a form like at a casino, is blatant violation of U.S. laws. The roi per individual entry is smaller except to maybe the top 5% of regs. The rake taken from players during this week is essentially 4x higher if you try to play the same schedule. This this will inevitably drain the bad regulars from the player pool at a 4x faster rate then if they just had double guaranteed week without multi-entry. PCA p5ers do it again... Umm I'm gonna have an unpopular opinion on a tournament forum but most online high-stakes cash game players that play tourneys are better than high-stakes tournament players in deep-stacked live tourney play just my two cents from what I've seen in live tournaments. Give Chris knows his own image of being a nutball, Galen clearly came to the conclusion (and I agree) the he would not be willing to just shove 97dd as I don't think he thinks Galen will fold, I'd snap call anyways.
