Selling action for WSOP
I'm going to be in Vegas on the 22nd of June and have a schedule I'd like to play during the week I'm there. I've already sold half my action in these events (*these are tentative to the day2's I make etc), but am looking to sell off the other half. I'm 25 and been in the game a while, lived 40min from Tunica my adult life and grinded cash plenty so I like my live game. PM if interested in taking up some action. respect what you say, but I should add that poker is and has always been a means to an end for me. There aren't many ways to knock out 30k of student loan debt while also supplying me with some sort of money in the bank for a future small business or collateral for a loan. I'm not saying I'm better than anyone, but I think there are people that treat this game with disrespect and neglect all the positive that can come of this skill...I will never in my life ever be broke because of what i know in this game.

Not that i live the perfect life, but those that say "others think its a bad life choice to play poker for a living" etc., need to get out more. I don't think there is one person I've met in the last couple years that doesn't envy me b/c of what i do for a living...I think you guys are just doing it wrong. We need better ambassadors for the game imo.

Why Weavel's (betudontbet) Pro Poll should be much higher
The point being made is he seems to be light years ahead of most mtters these days, even tho he's only been in the mtt game for a short time. Anyone at all looking for high stakes FTs can see this, the guy is def doing more than running hot. I'm likely getting leveled but just saying, ape is bringing to light this kids talent and, ironically, it should be helping other aspiring top players to take notes on this guys background...

Not that I'm not confident with women, but the whole "anti drinking before going there" is ridiculous. If you pull a "I just came from getting a couple drinks with buddies after work" I guarantee you she will be even more comfortable than your tipsy ass will be. 2nd hand liquid courage ftw bruh!

If you read the last page, you'd see he made deals with casinos which gave him discounts on losses and also skewed the games rule to basically make it a 50/50 game not a 52/48 game. Ran hot nontheless but he was risking 80% for a 50/50 shot.

Yet another Tax question I'm curious about..
I filed as a professional player last year and paid self employment taxes etc. This last year (2011) I didn't make a whole lot because of black friday etc. Had no other means of income and pretty much just lived off of what I had. Is there anyway to file as a hobbyist after filing as a professional the year before' I'd like to save some money but also want to avoid any suspicion that would be cause for audit. P.s. I'm in Mexico and it's been tough for me to find a CPA I could chat with over the phone...I'm trying to get something done with H&R block if possible. Also, I was a fulltime ...

Movie*** Must see! Drive w/ Ryan Gosling!!
Watched b/c of this thread. Liked it for sure. The moments of nothing but eye contact were amazingly powerful and somewhat uncomfortable. The only thing I didn't care for were the gaps in story. Like, what was Gosling doing before LA' and what the hell is supposed to happen next'! I understand leaving some of the wonderment to the viewer but this dude needs some GAHT-DAMN resolution!!

Preface: I'm drunk... I've been back grinding for the last 2 months and I've been steadily looking at my scores etc and how they're tracked through the site. Truth is, rankings on this site really don't mean shit to me (I just like $)...BUT I've been final tabling random daily mtts and like NON are even registering as legit points. WTF P5s'! Just 12 really terrible movies
when someone says worst movie of all time, I immediately think of Boondock Saints 2...such a terrible sequel to an incredibly good movie. Comedic effect was terrible, acting was so forced, and the effortless banter and perceived inexperience was lost. Don't stone me if you love it.
