Re(3): weird weird hand vs arbianight, 35k on full tilt
I don't like the flop call, but once he calls that, the turn call is standard. As stated above, your shove looks like desperation. If you had a 10 or an 8, you would be betting for value, and NO, he wouldn't be coming over the top. A value bet bluff here looks strong, but IMO, shoving was your weakest line here.

Re(2): Middle stages, Above Avg Stack..?
Now I've got 26k, btw.. but by being aggressive, you mean raising in position with lesser holdings, and raising bigger amounts that could essentially cripple the small stacks in the blinds' Or what exactly' I always get started great and then let my stack die down until i'm shoving alot of hands bc im so short..

Middle stages, Above Avg Stack..?
These are the points in the tournament where I think I'm supposed to change gears but I'm not sure. I've got 12k chips, where the average is 7300. Blinds are 100/200. With my stack size, do I need to start playing hands more strongly against the medium sized stacks, or do I play tight' I've been playing TAG, so what now'

Re(2): WHAT CAN YOU PUT THIS GUY ON??? RESULTS TO FOLLOW
I don't think he would open shove AA like that, unless he's an idiot IMO. Obv with AA u want to get some value. What is your image' Does he know you're only raising with big hands or have you portrayed a loose image' What's his image' IMO with no other info, i'd say 99-QQ, AK-AJ.. depending on how good this player is and how he's been playing. edit: of course i'm a donk.. just my opinion.

Re(8): great at poker but your life skills suc?
It's not even about being a gentleman's game. I agree with the OP, but to make it more clear, I think it's more about people being immature and acting like childish idiots on forums. Nobody is saying that it's wrong to get mad at any particular instance of poker. If someone makes a terrible play and sucks out on you, then why not get mad' BUT, aren't all these 'top pros' always preaching that they love terrible play because it benefits them in the long run, so why get mad at all' If nothing else, go bitch to your friends or someone who cares instead of acting like a hardass on the internet. ...

Re(3): Big Score One Time?!
Congrats.. I know that feels good. Just make sure you use that money to build a bigger roll, and DON'T play outside your BR, even though you're going to be tempted. GL at the tables, and congrats.

Re(2): I finally have a problem with stars support....
I'm shocked that some people are actually trying to say that this is not collusion. "You call, I call" is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. As stated before, if someone is going after a draw, this prices them in. If you said that in a brick and mortar poker room, you would get in trouble, and that should also be the case online. That IS colluding, and whoever says otherwise is an ignorant pompous ass idiot.

Unable to connect to server? FTP?
So I havent played in a couple months, so I loaded up the software earlier and DL'd the update. After it was DL'd, I started the software and all was good. Later, I restarted my computer, and tried to run the software again, yet it kept giving me 'Sorry, unable to connect to server' error. My internet is working, all firewalls are open for fulltilt, and Pokerstars is working for me... anyone have any ideas'

Re(2): Phone number for Stars support?
Really' That is sad. I know back in the day when US players were allowed to play on Party, they had a public number, and to my knowledge, they didnt have to deal with that stuff. I mean lets be honest.. if they did have a number, you would be on hold for so long listening to elevator music that you would be off tilt completely by the time you spoke to someone anyway..

Playing early on with big stack..
I was wondering how some of the top players play once they've accumulated a big stack early in a tournament.. for example, say the avg stack is 4k, and you have 18k, and are 4th in chips out of 1000. With the blinds being at 50/100, do you start raising a wider range of hands and putting pressure on shorter stacks who are afraid you might bust them, or do you play TAG and wait for hands' This is an area where I've had problems. I see alot of the top pros get a big stack quick, and then just build it from there.. Thanks.

Re(1): My first big score..
Congrats! I had my first big one a couple days ago.. (big for me, 2nd place finish worth $2383). I think the best part of the win was not playing for 4 hours, and cashing 20th for $60.. lol.. nothing more crushing than that. Sometimes i'd rather not cash than have a big stack for the longest and go out late only to profit $40.. heh. Anyway, congrats, and most of all, remember that even with a much bigger BR, make sure you stay within your skill limits. Don't play the bigger buyins that you are uncomfortable playing in. Good luck!

Re(2): FEEDBACK NEEDED from ALL players.. is that better? :D
Alright, so i'm nitty.. but without a read, I don't feel like losing my whole stack to one of the only people at the table who could do it to me. Also, I had a somewhat tight image, so when he RR PF, it was kinda fishy.

Re(2): FEEDBACK NEEDED from good players only :)
Waco, when he reraised PF, without a read, I could only put him on AA or KK, so i figured i would see a flop and re-evaluate. When he bet out, I saw even more hands that would have me crushed.. JJ, or 99 also, although unless he was very loose, I couldn't see either of those hands. At the time, without a read, I had no idea where I was at, and maybe leading the flop gives me more information.. How do you think I could have played it differently, and do you think the fold was a bad one'
