Question About Cell Phones on Ebay
I've never bought a cell phone on ebay before, and I wanted to try it. I'm already locked into a contract with AT&T and wanted to switch from Blackberry to a Palm Pre Plus. Buying that phone on ebay seems to be the cheapest way to do it, since i'm mid contract and recieve no discount from AT&T. Now when i buy it do i need to purchase an "unlocked" phone or one that has AT&T in the listing' And will it be easy to switch it over once i recieve it' I buy everything else online but as you can see i'm not very tech savvy. Anyway i appreciate all help.

Question about credit scores
I had ruined my credit score a few years back, and today i updated it and finally have 2 over 700 (complete brag post!!). This is due to old derogatory accounts being taken off and keeping up with my current accounts. Now my question is: I have my old job listed on 2 of the accounts from 4 years ago, when i was making roughly 25k/year. Today i am making over triple that. Is there any way to update the credit bureaus information or will they grab it automatically after tax season' I mean i figure if I am making more money it would raise my score, correct' All help is appreciated!

The Perfect Salary for Happiness: $75,000
Yeah it's virtually impossible to save to buy a house in NYC while making $75k/year. The only way to make it work would probably to be to live someplace 30-45 minutes away like Bayonne, Hoboken, or Queens, which aren't that cheap in the first place.

Need some car buying help from OT experts!
I got promoted like 2 months ago, and i feel like a major douche driving a banged up Sentra to work every day. I spend roughly 150 minutes on the road a day and want to upgrade to something that is nice and can handle a ton of miles. I'm looking for a sedan type car that has all wheel drive. So far i've been looking at used Audis and Acura TLs (saw a few Mercedes but they were a little too pricey and couldnt find a BMW with AWD). I'm sure someone on here owns one of these and was wondering how they are for you' Do you have to drop a ton on maintanence, not reliable, etc. I plan on driving the ...

How many pushups can you do?
I usually do sets of 10-15 pushups. I think the most i did in a row was 25ish. But somehow i can consistently do 7-8 pullups. My shoulders are steel from pushing 4000 lb cans into trailers for a year.

No Joker in Batman 3
Bane+ Azrael would be soooooo fucking sick. There is so many directions this movie could go villian/hero wise. I mean Catwoman, Robin (or Nighthawk), Riddler, Penguin (please no!!!), Clayface would be pretty boss, Killer Croc, etc. The question is would he want to redo the characters that were ruined by old movies like Freeze and Poison Ivy (and robin, pbv). Either way i think this movie is going to be a letdown because everyone's expectations are absurdly high after the dark knight.

Best man speeches
My brothers speech started with: I am glad to be the best man, and since John is my brother it is my job to make this the most awkward and uncomfortable 2 minutes of his life. Kind of like how Sarahs (the bride) most awkward and uncomfortable 2 minutes of her life will be later tonight. It went over well. And I always liked the family guy episode where the guy stands up, taps the glass, and says "But seriously" and moves right into the speech. BTW, they say most speeches are remembered by the last thing the audience hears. So whatever you do close strong with something super sentimental.

Is this a better renting vs buying situation?
Well i'm driving a small beater right now and need to get rid of it at some point. It will be perfect for the 90 min commute for now b/c of gas mileage but i'd like to upgrade to a Jeep 06 or later. I'm not going to be a baller and grab a new Inifinty or anything lol.

I got promoted at my job (yay!), and now i need to drive 90 mins 1 way to get to work. If i rent, i can save for 1-2 months then move to a nice apt in a shitty area for roughly 1100/mo+ internet (there is a cheaper apt for like 850-900, but my chances of getting stabbed go up 100 fold). The bonus here is i can also get a new car once i move out there instead of waiting. If i buy, i'll need to save for prob 6 months or more to get a condo (i'm assuming here that i need minimum 20% downpayment). After i buy, i'll still need to spend a shitload getting things like a new bed, washer & dryer, etc. ...

At this point, i wouldn't pay. Fuck this girl and her going apeshit over $10. Anyone here tried Fiverr?
I just read an article about fiverr and i think its a very interesting concept. Basically, you pay someone $5 and they do a service for you. The writer said she got an HR person to redo her resume, got another guy to call her up to 30 times (to act as an alarm clock), a doctor to review her blood tests, and a former music teacher to recommend 10 songs based on the notes she liked from a song. I think its cool as shit that i'll be able to get someone to make a powerpoint presentation for me for $5. EDIT: I can't stop browsing!

I've been working out for about 1 1/2 years straight now, and i still have 2 globs of fat that i'd like to get rid of. My abs are coming in thanks to a shitload of cardio, but i'm having trouble developing the bottom half. I've been doing leg lifts which clearly aren't getting the job done. FWIW i also do regular situps and weighted situps daily, and i have a good high protein low fat diet. My other problem area is right below my chest and right above my abs. This guy is 100% right. I was drinking these on a daily basis-- my work started at 3am so i pounded one as i got in and then i had class start at 6-7pm so i had another or a Red Bull. My heart felt like it was going to pop out of my chest, i had the shakes, etc. I was an on/off smoker at the time too, so that didn't help haha.
