The votes/comments seem to be heavily against your opinion. It's hardly top quality comedy material but it certainly makes a change from most anodyne poker reporting. It seems a bit of harmless fun to me. If people laughed out loud then they laughed out loud. They don't need the comedy police giving them hassle.

Srtategy in Betfair MDG
I've been playing in some of the Betfair Million dollar freerolls and doing quite well...it's a walk to qualify from the daily freerolls as the standard is sooooo bad however, the weekly 108 player event is a lot different. Only the winner qualifies for the regional final and was wondering if there is a different strategy I must use with only ONE prize.

Collusion and soft playing in Italy
Good story here about Sorel Mizzi's experience in an Italian poker tournament. I can see why he went mad and went on a little rant. "The Italian poker community is very small and pretty much everyone knows everyone and it appears collusion and softplaying happens regularly in Italy. People seem to show each other their cards and everyone at my table looked like they knew each other and were friends. Despite all of this, I still think I'll play EPT San Remo. Michael Phelps shark or fish?
I've never liked celebrities getting involved in poker even if some argue it is good for the game i.e. it attracts more players. Betfair have offered to pay Michael Phelps (a good swimmer aparantlely) into the WSOPE Europe. Personally I'd rather them add an extra place to their Super Sunday thing rather than waste it on a player who has little chance of going deep in the tournament. Link

i had a quick around the Internet and couldn't find any mention of it. Perhaps he wants to keep it quiet. However, I'm not convinced - he's too young to have a Ph. D.

Poker slang - what does Dr. mean?
in john tabatabai's blog he refers to Sorel Mizzi as 'Dr Sorel Mizzi' "I arrived 15mins late, only to find a player already out. However, the biggest surprise was to see fellow team betfair pro, Dr. Sorel Mizzi on my table." I know it must have something to do with being sick but can't work it out because if Sorel is sick- he's the one who needs a doctor!

I'm better than Annette lol
I'm liking this new Stax thingy promotion on betfair - not because I have any chance of winning but there is a nifty tool for quickly checking the stats on players - very handy for quickly checking rivals in sngs. I was proud of my 52 rating (before messing up a few games this morning) - even prouder when checking Annette's stats out of curiosity.

Annette's new house and other stuff I'm prob late with
I know I'm prob way behind with this stuff but just found this whole thing quite funny basically caused by the photo editor sticking up a rogue pic. The Negruanu vid is ob staged but contrary to what some people say the Scottish guy is qite funny.
