P5s Open THIS THURSDAY - now with prizes listed! +1 to this. bwin closed my account for no reason back in 2009 and I said piss on it, never fought to get it reopened. I've never had my account closed by any other of the 40+ rooms I've played it. Now that I am trying to get it back open before the P5s open, their support is taking days to get back to me. Looks like I have no chance at playing the P5s open on this shabby skin. gl to all who can and do play in it. Posted in: Poker Community |

I poker "mouse shake/disappear bug"??? Strange that it only happens while the poker client is open. I still think it has to do with that ATI software that runs in the background. Catalyst or something I think it is called. I'd updated it, and your gfx card drivers. Should solve it. Posted in: Poker Sites |

I poker "mouse shake/disappear bug"??? I think know what you are talking about. I had the same problem with my old graphics card/WinXP. When the cursor gets to a certain corner of the screen (was top right for me) the mouse literally gets "stuck", unable to move it out of a certain few pixels. If I recall correctly, it was something to do with my ATI Radeon video card software. There is like an invisible window where the mouse gets confused if it should be on the desktop, or this application's malfunctioning window. I forget what the ATI software was called, but I either uninstalled it, or updated to a newer version, and all was ... Posted in: Poker Sites |

Big live event FT bubble hand advice (long) I am sure raise/call all in was the plan. As others have said, just because this *was* our plan, doesn't mean we need to still go with it when we see there's not one, but two other very interested parties in this pot. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Big live event FT bubble hand advice (long) I'd probably fold. Live, players aren't 4betting in spots like the BB just did with 88- very often. We're a flip at best, 20% dog at worst (and fairly often). We also still have BTN's hand to worry about. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Merge 109 Tourney Ticket I don't think they expire, but it'd be best to double check that. I'd wait until you're feeling good about your game, then just play (and hopefully bink) it. Posted in: Poker Community |

2/5 nl..math people? Call. He isn't folding for the last $100. May as well see the river before throwing in your last $100. If you hit either draw he probably still won't fold getting 7:1. If you miss, you fold and save yourself money. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Best way to keep players in the pot? AA PF I think a flat is good here. All of the other stacks are pretty short relative to that 2900 raise. If there were active players with stacks similar in size to ours, then I definitely reraise though. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

little help with 1/2 live spot Tight 1/2 game people are generally just calling preflop with hands like KQ, AQ to see if the flop pairs them before they make a big pot. This guy could easily have either of those here. That chance far out dwarfs those times he has us coolered with QQ/33/44. Snap callaments! I mean really, that's one of the best boards you're going to get with that hand. What other flop do you want besides A25 or 443' I'd take Q43 over a 3 flush board any day. Is this collusion? (SNG) This is called "implicit collusion"- which is fine. It's only collusion / against the rules if someone actually says something to the effect of "let's check it down" "don't bet" etc. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Wildest hand I've ever played live --- thoughts? Borgata Summer Open PLO High Too lazy to run some simulations, but I'd think it's pretty likely that your hand has more equity than top set/anything else here multiway. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Deal or no deal When it's heads up you don't even need to use an ICM tool. Basically, you're both guaranteed 2nd place prize money, and are playing for the last $260. If you have 1/3 (33%) of the chips, your chip equity is .33 * 260 = ~$86, plus the $490 for 2nd = $578. Of course, this doesn't take into account abilities of players or other factors. Assuming the stacks weren't super shallow, I probably would have played it out given that your opponent was tired and likely worse. Or countered with an even chop offer, $620 each. PL Omaha heads up river spot First off, why are you giving away info with your table talk' That's your worst mistake in this hand by far. River is close and we need more information. How does he play his draws, or trips+str8 draw with good kickers, eg if he had AKQJ would he play it this way on the flop+turn' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

check back river? Hard to put a tight player on a 3 there. I'd have made a tiny bet too, there's a good chance she has like 87, 89, 55/66/77 Posted in: Poker Discussion |

a hand from the venetian deepstack. Wow. So umm. Preflop: Fold. Flop: Don't bet like a little girl for 11k into a 25k pot Turn: Don't bet like a little girl for 17k into a 47k pot River: Because you've bet like a little girl all the way, he had odds to call with all sorts of pair+straight draw hands. As played I guess you have room to bet-fold to get value from those broadway hands that will likely just call when they have 2 pair rather than the straight. Maybe check-call has some merit. Still, it was an avoidable spot. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Tried to represent trip Q heads up, did I do it right? I like it. It's the kind of spot he's FOS most often and can't call a raise. And it would take quite a sack for him to 3bet bluff all in after you take that line. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I feel like a moron.... You shouldn't have posted results. Easy for people to say you played it bad when they can see all the hands. I think it was played okay. I could see merit in a flop or turn raise, but only if they are mega fish who will call a raise with a middle pair type hand. Calling 1k on the end is usually throwing money away, and 1k might not even get you a showdown if the first guy re-pops it. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
