Favre vs. Ripken Who's streak is more impressive?
I actually agree with you that football is physically tougher. But, being a franchise player on a baseball team, they're usually pressured to sit out for the smallest of things due to baseball being a marathon season. It's why I say Ripken's streak is more impressive, to go that long without being asked to sit.

Cal Ripken Jr.: 15 years, 2,131 games, playing a grueling 162 game schedule each year, in a sport that as little as a sore back or sore thumb has you sitting a game or two. I'm thinking Ripken.

Poker Tourney idea
With late reg. now isn't someone just below the chip avg. when they enter the first 3 levels or so at the original buy in' But I get what you're saying. No way it could happen but I guess those who would want the field thinned as much as possible before entering would use it... But, by then you could find yourself up against a few monster stacks at your table.

Poker journey hits a major road block
Have you looked into other games besides holdem' Maybe holdem isn't your game'' Maybe poker in general isn't your game'' I'm not saying you should quit altogether, but how about pursue another career ( or focus on the one you have, if you have one) and play poker for fun. Who knows, maybe you'll begin winning after you start viewing it as a game instead of a career that'll make you a millionaire.
