Re:Intervention Yes. Aditya Agarwal lives in Calcutta though he is frequently abroad. And yes online poker is legal. (I am a fourth year student in the National Law School of India University). Gambling contracts cannot be enforced under Indian law. But it is not illegal and you can't be prosecuted for it. (Unless you evade taxes). Just like in the USA, you can claim that poker is your profession and deduct expenditure incurred in playing while filing tax returns (though you should ask a tax expert about this, I sleep mostly in Tax classes :) ). If that is the case, I am unwilling to proceed on the basis that he has AA and nothing else. If he does, I am going out of the tournament but that is OK. If his range consists of other stuff as well, I am a big favorite against diamondless hands, a decent favorite against hands with one diamond, and dead against the few that have two diamonds. Therefore I think I am ahead and am almost certainly going to get bet into. So I would make the bet which is most likely to induce a shove which I am then going to call. That would in my ...
