**NBA Playoffs round 2** Very true. I was at Game 6 last night and it was worth every penny to get in, and then some. Sick crowd, and it only got better in the 2nd half with the Z-Bo/Griffin wrestling match and then Paul and Z-Bo getting ejected. I'm just praying OKC doesn't beat the Grizz (aside from my homerism) b/c that would make for a shitty WCF, assuming Spurs end up beating the Warriors. Grizz would destroy the paint and offensive glass (assuming Lee doesn't play/is limited) and the Warriors would have to rely heavily on outside shooting to win. *NBA Playoffs Rd 1* I mostly agree with this, but a big part of it has to do with how deep they really are. Finding quality minutes for Billups, Bledsoe, Crawford, Butler, and Barnes is an unenviable task, but you're right, he's supposed to know who to use based on matchups when it's playoff time. The biggest head-scratcher last night was playing Crawford and Bledsoe a combined 21 minutes, when both have killed the Grizzlies in the past. IMO, what it boils down to is whether or not Paul decides to return. If he does, VDN is a goner. If he leaves, it opens up all those minutes for Bledsoe to finally show how ... Posted in: Off Topic |

*NBA Playoffs Rd 1* Warriors winning game 2 was obv the game changer. I mean, is anyone really that surprised that the Nuggets weren't able to steal one at Oracle' Steph Curry's unreal performances aside, it's one of the loudest arenas in the league, not to mention the fact that the Nuggets went 19-22 on the road. Anyone who follows the NBA could predict this would come back and haunt them come playoff time. Even if they hadn't sustained all those injuries, they were bound to win one series max because of their road woes. No way could they have beaten OKC/SA in a 7 game series. Posted in: Off Topic |
