A-J @ the 2008 WSOP I've been watching the re-broadcast of the 2008 WSOP and it seems A-J was not the hand to go all in with... 1) Mike the Mouth busted out with A-J vs. A-9 with 2 Aces on the flop and a 9 on the turn. 2) I don't know if it was the same guy that knocked Mike out, Sean' went all in against Ylon Schwartz with a flop of J-J-K and a K on the turn and lost to Ylon's A-K 3) Dean Hamrick busted out with A-J vs. Q-Q against Craig Marquis on the bubble of the final table. Is there any way to check the statistics of a hand like A-J and how many players busted out with A-J in the WSOP' I ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Should I Stop Playing A-A? Twice in one day I've had A-A cracked by the following hands... Flopped a FH with A-A-A with this hand and lost to: Quad 9's This one hurt even more...A-A cracked by K-6 on the river after raising and re-raising and re-raising...BS Both these hands cost me a small fortune but thankfully it was Fixed Limit... wtf...two in one day' come on Cake get F***in real! Here's Two Bad Beats for the Record Books In the first hand I'm dealt AA and the flop is 9-A-9 with 3 on the turn and J on the river... I flopped the boat and raise and raise...thank god it was Fixed Limit... wtf...9999 I went on Tilt but rebounded with a run of + $525 for the nite...nothing like a wake up call! The next hand I'm dealt A-J and the flop is J-J-A-Q-' Again I flop the boat... wtf...Q-Q-Q-J-J If you need to re-bound and re-build your roll I recomened the fixed limit ring games on Cake...1/2-2/4 and 3/6 are soft and profitable... NEWSTOP I know I should have showed more strength pre-flop and re-raised...but was trying to get someone to commit to the pot which happened...every time I raised pre-flop prior to this every one would fold. I thought he might have had A-K, K-Q and maybe K-K when he raised 19.50...but on who is U.B. kidding with this B.S....K-9 and hits the pair on the river' I know... Let's put everyone with a good hand on tilt so they re-deposit..welcome to the world of online cash games...these type of hands never happened to me playing live... Re:Bad Beat Boot Camp - Ultimate Knockouts I This course just added: "Q-J" Does this hand ever hit on the flop' I must have been dealt Q-J at least 20 times this weekend and I think I won one hand by pairing the jack on the river. I kept playing this hand just to see if it would ever pair on the flop...not once all weekend. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Bad Beat Boot Camp - Ultimate Knockouts I The Maven's article is exactly what I needed to read after this weekend on the cyber felt. I've been playing online for 6 months and can honestly say this has been the toughest 2-3 days of poker I've ever played. Without turning this into a bad beat post, I'll try and put it fighting terms. I've been knocked down time after time on the turn and the river but fought off the tilt without tapping out. It really has been a test and hopefully I will be stronger in the long run. As I was writing this I came up with the idea to open a "Bad Beat Boot Camp" 2-3 days ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Thank You! CHEBANENKO & Z8ELDRED Thanks to CHEBANENKO for giving Z8ELDRED a bad beat for 35k/69k and a free $130.00 bucks for me I missed it last time it hit at the .25/.50 this time it hit .50/1.00 It pays to watch re-runs of the WSOP on ESPN! And I just hit a straight flush to stay alive late in a $5.50 MTT! Those sacrifices to the poker gods are finally paying off! Posted in: Poker Discussion |
