Wish you the best of luck with this, I'm sure your experience in the field will come through and you will pass with flying colors. And I thought 4 years (ending this May) of undergraduate work double majoring in accounting and finance was tough, but 14 years I cannot even imagine. Congrats.

Sucks when you can't have CCHA or WCHA refs that actually let some of the physical stuff go. Knew the refs were from the ECAC in the first game, must have been ECAC or Hockey East in the Michigan/UND game as well. They just ref in a very different way. Congrats to Michigan. Hunwick was the man!

John Merrill is the UM player you were trying to think of. Saw him a few times watching the Big Chill, when UM came to play Miami in Oxford, and up in Detroit for the CCHA and he is a great player. 6-2 Colorado College, woop make that 7-2. This is crazy.

Better get their shit together. 0 for 4 on the powerplay after leading the country at like 31% during the season. Then again they aren't playing the usual cupcakes of the EZAC. UMD 1-0 in the second Make that 0 for 5 on the power play.

Wow you mad' I was just trying to say that coming into Regionals Michigan is not playing their best hockey. Yes, Michigan's record the last few weeks coming into the CCHA tournament indicates otherwise, but from what I saw all weekend not only in their loss to Western but also the win against ND, was a team that played with no intensity. Also, the only team they played with a winning record during that winning stretch was the same Western team they fell to last Friday. If you watched how UM played in the CCHA tourney you may be a little more worried. Got thoroughly outplayed on Friday night vs. Western and got outplayed again on Saturday in the consolation game against ND, but still managed to squeak out at victory. I wouldn't be looking at a series played months ago to gauge how the tournament game will go. That series was so long ago and tons has happened since then including an injury to UM's Wohlberg who is out for the season with collarbone injury. Also, Capurusso is just coming back from an injury himself and he did not look 100% playing over the past ...

Exactly Yale couldn't even win the EZAC regular season championship. Their non-conference opponents were Colorado College who they beat, Air Force who they lost to, Sacred Heart who had a whopping 6 wins in the all mighty Atlantic Hockey conference, Vermont who was toward the bottom of Hockey East, and Holy Cross another Atlantic Hockey foe. Also, against the two other EZAC representatives in the tournament they split 1-1 with each of them throughout the season. Screams power to me. Good sample size, Yale would be lucky to be in the top half playing in the WCHA weekend in and out.

Think Yale could be one of the most overrated teams ever. Haven't played much for competition all year and their goaltending is quite suspect to say the least.

Was up in Detroit for CCHA finals. Miami rolled ND then Western stunned UM. Miami then went on to get by Western with 3 unanwered goals in the third period with the game winner by Andy Miele. Anyone who hasn't heard of Andy Miele should check him out. Two man race for the Hobey Baker between Miele and UND's Matt Frattin who scored the game winner in 2OT for the Sioux against Denver. Miele's stats this year: 38 GP 24 G/47 A for 71 points...an unreal 1.87 ppg. Have to believe Miele gets the nod over Frattin for Hobey but I'm biased since I go to Miami and see Miele play every weekend. NCAA ...

Little things that people do in public that just tilt the f@%& out of you
People who use the left side of double doors while people are trying to use the proper door coming out. If everyone just used the left side there would be no problem, but instead people are too lazy to open up the proper side of the double door and congest the whole doorway.
