Re:Help at FT -- Bad fold or bad spot? 150,000 w/ big blind at 24000 does not give you much room to play. Go with the 10's and if you triple up you would have room to play and be one of the big stacks Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Tiffany Michelle's official statement I don't like UB. Frigging cheating scandal there and with their sister company Absolute makes me sick. I just don't think she should be getting smeared for making a decision about her financial future because she cut out someone's commission by brokering a deal elsewhere. Tony G lost out on this but PokerNews has decided to press the issue so they remain in the story and therefore get press and traffic at her expense. She made a deal during an open window opportunity to secure her financial future, anyone would have done the same. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Tiffany Michelle's official statement I support Tiffany in this. It is pretty clear that Tony G was only looking out for himself in this matter. What you don't realize is that Tong G was only setting up a sponsorship deal for Tiffany because his kickback with Pokerstars for doing so was a few hundred thousand dollars. When she went in another direction he lost out on a bigger payday (because the few hundred thousands he got from her for backing wasn't enough) from his commission which he spins to sound like he was trying to do her a favor. Re:WSOP new structure vehicle for collusion and deal making Blatant cheating aside, you are almost certainly going to see some players working together simply by avoiding one another and what not. we are talking about the difference between winning $0 more dollars as every1 has already been paid as if they got 9th and winning maybe $10 million more. There is enough money there to tempt some players to at least communicate with each other beforehand. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

WSOP new structure vehicle for collusion and deal making I don't know if any1 has brought this up yet about the WSOP playing its final table 5 months after the final table is set in the main event, but I would definitely think with this much money on the line: 1) Deal making before the final table resumes is almost a guaranteed thing to happen between at least some of the players. 2) The absolute certainty of collusion occurring will take place. Some of the players will contact each other and work out a strategy to help each others chances of winning. I don't think a televised scandal like this will be good for poker. Re(2): Absolute Won't Send Me My HH!! The Gaming Commission Absolute is a part of reguires HHs to be kept for 5 years. Every single HH from every single hand played on Absolute can probably fit on a normal computer's hard drive, or at the very least a small storage device. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
