Merge and Bovada (Bodog) Deposits & Cashouts
Just got a DHL tracking # posted in my account message for both payouts I requested on 11/26 and 12/3. It's already in DHL's system and coming from the same area my past few checks had come from. Hoping no further problems but not holding my breath...will keep posted.

Merge and Bovada (Bodog) Deposits & Cashouts
Requested cashout from Bodog on 11/26 and then again on 12/2. Was quoted 7 business days on the 11/26 cashout and 15 days on the 12/2 cashout. Still hadn't received any tracking #'s or deliveries as of 12/14 so I called Bovada and was told by CS rep that I should be receiving my check via FedEx on Thurs 12/15 but she couldt not provide me a tracking #. Received nothing on 12/15 or 12/16 so I called back requested to speak directly to payout department. Was told that was not possible but that CS rep would send e-mail to payout department and I would get a response within 24 hours. This ...

Bodog Software up date..
I'm afraid to comment on their FB page as it might affect / delay two pending cashouts. I'm also surprised Bodog only has 2400 FB friends which is very small for a company that size so not really sure FB comments are going to matter whether they delete them or not.

Bodog Software up date..
Thanks for the link Overdriv3, was able to finally see some good news by checking out the next article. / Looking forward to the day when on-line Poker is legalized and regulated in the US and is available for me to play. I miss that site everyday. Only reason I'm not withdrawing from Bodog today is because I already used my free cashout this month, will definitely be withdrawing my full roll tomorrow. Oh Bodog, thanks also for making it so much easier for me to play some BJ, just what I needed in my life. Really can't believe how you disappointed me today.

Bodog Software up date..
I'm done playing on Bodog if we can't get player names back. I don't care about HUD stats but as a casual MTT player who loves to play on-line, Bodog is the only site I play on and that was even pre-black Friday. I'm withdrawing my balance tomorrow and will just be playing live. For all the steps forward Bodog had taken in the past six months, this was a major step backwards. GG Bodog, it was fun while it lasted.

Bodog
My last Bodog check took over 2 weeks to receive and while I don't want to fully describe the details of the check, it was definitely different than the checks I've received in the past. I wouldn't be surprised if China gets involved in helping out these Poker Sites doing business in the US process payments. Kind of makes sense when you think about it.

15k Freeroll US players only: HeroPoker.com, no restrictions- just rock it...
I couldn't get the Western Union to work on-line. It claimed it could not verify my identify. I think it had something to do with address being on account with another customer and I rent so it might have been a former tenant. Called up and realized that you could just do it my phone so I chose that option. Phone call took less than 10 mins and the money was "picked up" about 10 minutes after that and in my Hero account. It might have been more expensive but just seemed convenient at the time. I'm happy to support Hero poker, David is truly a class act. Congrats on the new arrival ...

P5's will no longer have a Bodog Liaison
This is a very weird thread. Even if Bodog had originally planned to eliminate the Bodog liasion position from P5's, it would seem that the events from last Friday are reason enough to reconsider that decision, unless that decision wasn't made pre-black Friday. I have no reason to believe that Nate stating it was not as a result of Black Friday is anything but true. Therefore, I question if the liasion position was eliminated or was Nate eliminated and while it might not be my business, why was he eliminated' This is further complicated by the fact that Nate comes on here earlier and asks ...

new Bodog Cashout Policy
Thought about requesting the debit card and might do that the next time, if there is a next time. I've heard players get screwed on the exchange rate when they take money off the card and there can be other fees associated as well. But in some ways, it seems like all these on-line poker companies should have come up with some good debit card systems a long time ago. Would be almost impossible for the gov't to interfere if they were funding Visa debit cards from legitimate off-shore accounts. Only issue would be deposits and it seems like it's a lot easier all around to get money onto the ...

new Bodog Cashout Policy
Decided to request a small cashout from Bodog just to see what would happen considering recent events. I made the request for a Direct Bank Transfer at 6:30 EST this morning and just got this e-mail: This is a message from the Bodog Customer Service Team to let you know that in order to comply with our processor's policies, we are unable to process payouts via Direct Transfer until further notice. With this in mind, we would like to offer you the Debit Card or Check by Courier options in order to process your payment. Please let us know which option you find more convenient so that we can ...

bodog rep, can we get some new info on deposit and withdraws in light of recent event
Tough times for us on-line grinders so please don’t think I’m not aware of that as I make this post. I haven’t even posted about the fact that I made my first deposit in over 2 years on Stars just 2 days before "Black Friday" and didn’t even play it yet, was gonna try to satty into some SCOOP events. It wasn’t a large deposit and while I hope I do see that money again some day, I understand the bigger picture so no need for me to gripe about it. But what has me absolutely irate this morning is that Bodog changed the structure of the 1K Super Stack tournament ...

Full Tilt and Pokerstars Domains Seized
Wow, if what it says at the bottom of this article is true, I'm speechless....gg on-line poker... "And the biggest irony of all' It's been rumored that the only reason the FBI got their hands on him is because Full Tilt or Poker Stars (the companies he used to work for and stole from) tipped off the FBI that he was going to be traveling to the United States. They ratted him out ... and he turned the tables. No honor among thieves."

Bodog Customer Service issues (long)... misinformation, wasted time etc.
Had a different experience with a cashout issue just this week: First, I requested a check 2 weeks ago for $500 and actually received and cashed in under 2 weeks which was acceptable to me. I prefer the check method. Requested another check for $3000 on Monday morning and they approved it the same day but said they had to switch the method to “Direct Bank Transfer” because I had deposited via that method which was true, I used both the credit card and Direct Bank Transfer to make deposits in the past. Still, I would have preferred a check. Yesterday, I get an automated ...

Bodog King of the Felt and Player Points FreeRolls
I don’t necessarily want 100% pre-flop fold equity from any player at the table at the beginning of the tournament. I want to either bustout or double/triple up within the first 2 levels if possible. And that is sometimes harder to do when I have 3-4 players sitting out. In the 2nd hour, I have no complaints if I have 1-2 of these players to my immediate left but if I have 2 of them on my right, not so good.... Table and seat draw are a factor in any tournament and in the long run I’m sure this evens itself out. When it gets really bad is when you now have 2-3 stacks on the ...

Bodog King of the Felt and Player Points FreeRolls
I give Bodog props for the Freeroll promotions they offer. I like being able to enter a $500 or $1000 King of the Felt Freeroll that only has a few hundred entry’s. I was also a big fan of the daily $300 freeroll that you could buy in for points 300 points that would only get around 75 entries. I was sorry to see that go but after playing in the $7500 1000 point bi-weekly freeroll, I think that was an upgrade. And now today they announced that the King of the Felt Freerolls will be $1500 and $1000 which is even better than before. My 1 big issue with the King of the Felt Freeroll is ...

Bodog scalability problems
I've had the same problem as Eagleseye, my hands just start auto-folding and the fix is for me to close out and rejoin the table. It has happened to me maybe five times since the last upgrade, never happened before. And if I'm multi tabling, it doesn't affect all tables. And I think it happens after I time-out at a table and then rejoin the action, I'll play a few hands and then they just start auto folding. But it seemed at least once that I never timed out at the table and it just started happening although I could not verify that for sure. And unless I see something playable, I ...

JJ facing limper and then short stack all in, what is my move?
Just to clarify, I never considered flatting an option, just wanted to make sure that logic was correct. My issues after I lost this hand was that I didn't give enough consideration to the limp until after I made my decision about being way ahead of the short stack and feeling good about getting 1/3 of my stack in vs. all of his. Given this was a solid player, it's strange for him to limp. I'm used to seeing late position raises from him with a wide range. I didn't have anything in my notes on him limping from EP. Our table was also stacked. UTG+2 had just over 13K in chips and was the ...

JJ facing limper and then short stack all in, what is my move?
Sorry for the manual hand history but only way I know to post hands from Bodog. 10+1 MTT (~175 entrants) ~46 left Blinds 100/200 with a full table UTG+1 (12,345) UTG+4 (2480) ME - cutoff (6567) – dealt JJ UTG+1 limps, UTG+4 all in, what’s my move' UTG+1 is a pretty solid player who I have experience with. UTG+4 I have little history but I feel I’m in good shape against him with JJ. I’m removing AA or KK from his range and think there are as many weaker Aces and smaller pps he’s going to be shoving as he would with QQ or AQ+. This is just what I tend to see from shorter ...

Should the 17 year old who came 6th in sundays 5milly special keep the money?
Mostly a lurker but wanted to chime in on this. If the account was registered to the Dad, I don’t see how Poker Stars could prove otherwise, twitter posts or not. Since that now appears not to be the case, this kid is about to experience a very costly life lesson about breaking rules. Whether it’s right or wrong for them to “take the money away” isn’t for me to say. But one poster earlier in this thread made a great analogy, if someone underage plays a quarter in a slot machine and wins a 250K jackpot, he won’t be seeing a dime of that money. Even if Dad is in the casino with the kid ...

question about 2 hands I played at the final table of Bodog 5K GTD
Thanks LRocketz, haven't been on here in a few days and just seeing your response now. I think what I got from replies in this thread is that: pre flop shoving > preflop 2 1/2 raise with c bet on flop vs two callers > preflop 2 1/2 raise with no c bet on flop Even though it was a few weeks ago, I still vividly remember this tournament and looking back on it now, I didn't adjust to the new blind level and realize I needed to switch back to push fold mode especially on this hand which was in EP and where the BB had the chips to see a cheap flop with a wide range. I was just begging to ...

Mralan2950 chipleader FTOPS ME
Mostly a lurker but wanted to chime in on this. Don't remember exactly how much was in the pot but when mrlanen makes his river bet of around 700K doesn't Taka have to decide before he makes his re-raise if he is gonna call a shove' Unless Taka just doesn't have a hand that has good showdown value and he just trying to bluff at the pot but in this case he obviously had a pretty good showdown hand with two pair. I understand you don't want to lose value in that hand by just flatting the 700K but don't see how you make that re-raise for 1/3 of your chips with any intention of folding. So ...

Push / Fold charts- is 55 utg with an M of 10 really profitable???
If you read the directions in the chart, it assumes that you are the short at the table when you are UTG and in many cases if you have 20bbs, you are not the shortstack so the chart doesn't apply. I think the chart becomes more useful in later positions but even then only applies if you are shortest of those left to act and it being an unopened pot. So let's say you are the short stack with 20 BBs UTG but there is only 1 or 2 really big stacks at the table with 60+BBs, and most of the stacks are around 35-45 BBs, I don't think you are getting called by 77-99 by those medium stacks and ...
