Overall a good movie with some great scenes. I did think it was a bit slow at times and should have been under 2 hours.

Yes, they did. They lost to Northwestern after leading 10-0 in the 1st qtr and losing their QB in the 1st qtr and putting a kid in that had never played in a college game. That doesn't happen they don't lose to NW. Kind of like a comment you made a while back about when Iowa beat UofA earlier this season, but you said beat them without one of their better players and therefore they didn't beat the "real" UofA team. I would be more then happy to take this action. Iowa has lost 6 games the last 2 seasons by a combined 22 pts. Let me know how to proceed. And to say PSU is more deserving is more then laughable. 1) Iowa beat Penn St in Happy Valley(not to mention last year in Iowa City as well to put an end to States perfect season) 2) Iowa played Ohio St to overtime in Columbus with a freshmen QB starting his 1st ever game. Not too mention leaving 10 easy points on the field. Penn St got crushed at home vs OSU. So how is this even debatable'' If you don't like Iowa fine... but based on season results ...

Couple things from today... Bottom line - Iowa keeps winning, no matter how ugly. From being down 24-14 to winning 42-24 and covering with a 3rd/4th string true frosh running back and 5 Int's from Stanzi. What is that now... like 15 game winning streak' The other thing is how incredibly sensitive and lame Waco is. I love bringing up the weekly Iowa game thread after the game is over just because I know w/out a doubt Waco will have several posts from start to finish, week in-week out, bashing and hoping Iowa loses. They may have had some "unimpressive" wins, but wins nonetheless. They've also had some fairly impressive wins. Bottom line is, they are about to be 7-0 and have won their last 11 games. Like em, hate em...they are winning football games and that's really all that matters. Even better, they are doing so w/ 2 & 3 star recruits just as they've done the past several years.

I love listening to clueless people speak. Of course Michigan isn't the better team. Iowa forced 5 turnovers and won the game - end of story. Michigan didn't beat themselves w/ execution errors... it's another typical Iowa game - that's how they win games and that's why they have the nations second longest winning streak. Iowa played poorly and it never should have been as close as it was... not putting points on the board, etc with 1st down on UMs 6 yd line. Either way, wins are all that matters and that's what Iowa keeps doing.

I will say this about Iowa - they have a really, really good defense. I watched them play UofA and also got a chance to watch them play PSU. The Cats' have a respectable offense this year and they completey shut us down. I was pretty amazed. Then, I watched their defense absolutely destroy PSU. I would find it hard to argue against them having one of the best D's in the nation. From what I could tell their offense is a different story and the QB Stanzi seems like a loose cannon. Pebble Beach is amazing, but I honestly think I like Cypress Point more. The first time I played either of them was on the same trip and afterwards I thought I would prefer to play Cypress again first if and when the opportunity came back up.

Wasn't watching, but sounds pretty disgusting based on the details of how it went down. So, after the deal was made support eventually shows up to confirm what was already confirmed. By the time support shows up(support that Wretchy emailed to confirm the deal) Wretchy now has the chiplead so decides he wants to veto the deal' Am I understanding this correctly' I'm afraid the answer is gonna be a yes, which sucks.

I've heard these rumors for a few days now, but really can't see it happening. I don't think ISU will make the same mistake twice(letting Gable get away to Iowa). Crazier things have happened, but if neccesary they will open up the pockets and give him some more loot. I'm not sure if Cael has issues with the ISU A.D., but regardless, in the end they find a way to keep him home. No doubt PA has some incredible talent and a coach like Cael in that region could prob do some nasty recruiting, but he's pretty loaded w/ talent in Ames now w/ a young team, returning all starters ...

Well, not a lot of responses, but I still think this hand was pretty interesting. I was more curious on how to proceed after already flatting, which I know was a strange play. My gut told me I couldn't be ahead after original raiser still jams after all the action following him opening. A fold leaves me w/ just under 500k in chips and plenty of room for play. Obv I wanted to throw my laptop out the window after the board runs out quads, but after thinking more about it I think I made the right play, regardless of the results. I agree w/ the common response of shoving pre. As I said, it was an unusual play for me to flat here, but having done so and facing the original raiser jamming on me...I really think this is a spot where I can consider folding. I don't have much info on the guy other then final table play, but I know he hadn't gotten out of line and seemed to be a capable player. The other thing being is that my flat had to look very suspicous and I don't think he would be making this move w/out a very narrowed range.

Huge WTF spot from final table of FTP $109 - $75k ( W/ Results)
A little info...I had come into the final table as the shortstack and grinded my way back. Just a couple hands prior I won a big pot that basically gave me a slight chip lead. I def felt I had a significant edge and then this hand comes up. I know the flat call is odd, but I really didn't think original raiser would jam. I know the majority consensus will be to shove, but I didn't, so now what' It's a tough spot because like I said, I had just battled back from short stack to basically chip leader and really felt like I could find a fold and still be in decent shape w/ around 40 ...

I wouldn't say run good for Ivey. I mean, he did put it in good again. Durrrr owns, but it's funny how often he will just call off large amounts on nothing more then very weak draws and hoping variance binks him. You can do that when you have that kind of money and know just how much you really are gambling in PLO. It's also what makes Durrrr so difficult to play against because he makes so many plays in so many spots.

I think it's still available as an option for me, but I'm still waiting for my last transfer that was approved on Dec. 10th. Well past the 15 business days. They worked a few times in a row w/out any problems, but back to the delays this time. Seems like roughly every other withdrawal, check or transfer...has some kind of delays. Good news is it always come, just sometimes late.

Kinda makes me want to quit poker. Such a lethal combo of playing good/running good. He demolished the last couple tables and in doing so showed just how silly this game we play really is. I mean final table alone he got it in 11 times, twice while ahead....and won/split every single one. Table before was possibly even more insane. I'm extremely bitter and jealous.
