Petition to Poker Stars: More hyper turbo SNG options please!!
I'd rather pokerstars add a form of rush poker MTT's that way you still have the possibility of doing something other than push fold the entire time.(I realize there are very short moments in those where you have a stack in hypers) The only bad thing about hypers is that even for a winning player it can generate massive swings.(due to a 2-3% roi) A friend of mine top 10 on the sharkscope leaderboard for $100-$200 supers over on full tilt(young_jedi76), he went straight up from 0->50k(over 10k tourneys) then it swung all the way back down to 20k(in 5k tourneys) This is doing 9mans. If ...

Re:Lex Veldhuis- WSOP vs HSP
Listen to last weeks 2+2 podcast, Lex gives some background to that wsop table. Also discusses the hands on HSP. There is always a backstory and hands that lead to the ones they show on TV(moreso on espn coverage), that are boring as hell but really are ones that make the ground work for what happens to be covered on TV.

Re:good mouse for poker? cordless or cordeded?
I don't think wireless/wired matters much these days the data connection is faster than any human can react or move their hand. I just prefer using corded because then I don't have to fool with batteries every month or two. It's less environmentally friendly too.

Re:wtfffff tax question
There was a CPA who knew a lot about poker on 2 weeks ago on the deuces cracked podcast who discussed taxes and the poker player. -I am not a tax professional but remembered a few key points- 1. You cannot net the wins and losses together. 2. The state tax law is different for each state. You may have to do something special depending on the state. You may get hammered in some states who consider gambling a sin. 3. If you are gambling and poker is gambling in the eyes of the IRS, you need to keep a written log book(or in excel you can print it) of wins or losses at the time you play the ...

Bankroll management 6max SNG.
In jennifear's excellent article I don't see anything for a multiplier for 6 max SNG games. I'm trying to figure out when I can begin $3.25 6max SNG's.(on stars) Is it like 75 buyins or something'

question related to jennifear bankroll sheet
I notice that in the suggestions there are 1.10 single table tournaments, does this still exist on any site that someone in the US could use'(other than dons) The usual thing I see is 1.20 on full tilt and stars, cake has like nothing running.(I have like $8 there so I've looked before) I enjoy doing the turbo ones more than regular speed and 20% juice cannot be overcome.(easily)

Re:standard or bad ship?
I'd imagine you'd need KK+ here, I'd probably put original raiser on like a pocket pair, A-K, A-Q (unless you've seen evidence to the contrary that would make his range bigger) Second person probably has 99 and below, plus AQ, KQ. I'd imagine he'd ship if he had 10-10+(or A-K). I await the reveal where I'll be all wrong. :) -- IMO there is never a "standard" play, poker is a game of adjustments to your opponents.

Re:How bad am I getting this many bbs in?
2 things, I'm not 100% sure that this is a snap fold pre like some people were saying. I mean you do have #1 position, #2 I don't know what he was playing in prior hands. I agree that the river raise is stupid though, you're only going to be called by better hands.

Re:Best Deals for Vegas
Make sure to ask a free room upgrade, go and lookup "$20 Trick". I did get an upgrade without the $20, by saying I was here on my anniversary.(which got me some bubbley as well-I suppose depending on your level of room you might get different qualities of it) Also if you aren't pleased with any part of your room you can always ask for food comps(5/6 elevators weren't working so I called the desk and got a $50 food credit) Another place to check deals out is . One trick that I didn't do, but I know some people do is stay at more than one hotel to get a bunch of comps. ...

Jennifear's pushbot chart
I've been reading through some of the resources that jennifear has here, very good.(enjoyed the "mistakes low limit sng players make" article) Doing mostly STT. I'm trying to follow this chart, but it says "this does not apply to the bubble" on it. Is there a chart/strategy for the bubble play' I know the whole "avoid the big stack and small stack try to pick on the middle stack" but is it pretty much a feel thing' All in all it's good for me to get out of my "tight is right" early on mentality, I was already starting down this path and ...
