Browsing P5's lately ......
i've been having problems for a while... i have to click on threads multiple times sometimes to get them to open. and if i don't, it will load....veryy slowwwwllly. and then sometimes page 2/3 won't load. i'm using chrome, maybe that's why though' i mean, i manage. i just click multiple times.

Business degree
schools with co-op programs (where the school finds you a related job to your field) and bachelor programs are the best out there. otherwise, i'd recommend getting a degree in computer science--it seems that all my friends with those degrees have these awesome jobs.

Question for female OTers
i didn't read the whole thing, but i'll answer what i read. girls in a professional setting --no. at a job it's important to be viewed as a professional. unless your job is to receive tips and in that case this is null and void. but i work in an office and i get uncomfortable if i feel like i'm being 'checked out' at a bar-sure. but not in a creepy manner. like, don't stare and don't grope---that is the worst.

I was abducted by Aliens last night
it's a pretty common thing.. in your REM cycle of sleep, your body is in a paralyzed mode. if your brain 'wakes' up before your REM is complete, you're aware of your surroundings, yet your body is still in the paralyzed mode. it's actually quite scary. it's happened to me a few times, i usually just start to move my toes with all of my efforts and eventually i'll wake up. i've never had the hallucinations thank god

SOPA: What will it mean for OT and the internet if passed?
who supports this bill' i honestly haven't heard one person say they are in favor of it. SOPA actually effects google and a lot of businesses because it'll change how search engines work and get their data/algorhthymsi, which will in turn change how SEO work is done...and not to mention, basically shut down youtube...i mean we'll still get people's vblogs cause they are original content. i honestly don't think it'll pass as congress is supposed to vote for their constituents.

401K vs Pension Plans
i have a 401k, but i get the taxes taken out of it now, as I believe taxes are at their lower now than they would be when I actually use the money. get as much as you can out of it; i believe i'm getting 5% and my company matches 4.5% of that. free money!

Lame excuses for coworkers or yourself calling into work.
a coworker of mine has left work early because his cat ran outside when a cable guy came, the cable guy returned the cat inside but it was 'shaken'. same coworker left early another day cause his eyes were bothering him. i'd rather just not know why you aren't at work if you're going to have dumb ass reasons
