Re:What do you HATE most about the holidays?
Well, maybe the fact that I'm stuck living in a shitty UNT ghost town dorm because all my friends went home to their families, and even though mine is only 20 miles away, we aren't on speaking terms and I'm not welcome there. So I'm going to be sitting in my dorm room eating crackers and drinking Dr Pepper for thanksgiving, because the cafe's are closed, and Im broke until friday.

Re:2 Cheat or Not 2 Cheat?
I'd play. But only at the stakes I normally play. I wouldn't want to draw alot of attention to myself. So probably alot of 180s, or some of the big MTTs. Prolly play the daily dollar. I may play a little above my usual, and prolly 1 BIG tourney. But I wouldn't put my whole BR in a few tourneys, then put the whole BR in a few more, and jump a rediculous amount of money in one day. That would be stupid.

Re:Is it ok to set mine here? How should I play this??
Probably, but you don't really have the odds. I would insta-fold. At 30+BB deep, it's ok to set mine, but not after a 3-Bet with a small pair, and surely not after a three-bet from a tight opponent. Odds are you're currently dominated, and will remain that way, and lose a good portion of your stack.

Re:Why do people show random crap in the big blind when it gets folded around to them?
I know how you feel, but I also have to admit to doing it. If I'm on one of those runs where it feels like nobody is ever calling anything, and I'm in the BB with rockets and it's folded around to me, sometimes I just get annoyed and show for no reason whatsoever. Other than "Hey look, I had the nuts and I'm fucking frustrated with this table and them not letting me play em." Lol.

Re:Called a Donk?
It was Joey. He called me a donk and said he made the laydown of a lifetime. It doesn't matter. I tried to explain to him that I'm pretty fucking positive I played that right, he wouldn't buy it, so I blocked him from chat and labeled him as a "Sore-Loser" in my notes. Lol.

Re:folded top two, good or bad?
Muck it for sure. The fact that there were two callers and 5 players in total, plus there were 2 re-raises on the flop would have convinced me I was behind. QK isn't out of range for someone to call with pre- and neither is JJ, 99, or 10-10. I would have thought someone flopped a set, or the straight.

Re:So how do you play against your new 'friend' at the table?
I love table friends. Best friends you can ever have IMO. Your regular friends don't throw cash at your face, lol. I have a couple funny experiences. 1: Guy to the right of me is a constant talker. More than happy to befriend him. Anyway, he's prolly around 50, tries to give me advice about the game. "Never bluff ever cause they ALWAYS got called." And, "Top pair wins more pots than any other hand in poker, so you really shouldn't fold it." I'm smiling on the inside the whole time I'm hearing this. It was a $1/$2 game at Winstar, and stcked him twice. ...

Re:Help me out on this hand..
You were on an open-ended straight draw and a flush draw. You had 17 outs. That's 54% chance to hit one of those two hands. I would have played it exactly the same way. It really is standard, just bad luck.

Re:is this a terrible call?
Pre I would have raised, at least min, prolly 3BB. K8 is actually my fav hand (never fails to hit), but that's not why. I would have tried to shove out some of the weaker limpers. On the turn I woulda bet 3/4th or so, and on the river I would have shoved. Yeah, I would have lost, but that's the way I would have played it. I'm no poker pro though.

Advice on 99
Ok, first, sorry I don't have exact hand history. I closed out of FT to keep myself from vomiting my chips onto tables from tilt. I'm not listing suits, because there was never any kind of FD on the board, and I don't remember them. Here's the hand from memory: 5NL game, Hero with $7.14 in position, Villain with $8ish. Hero: 99 Villain Raises to $0.15 (3BB), Hero Calls, all limpers fold back to Villain. Flop: 2-6-K Villain checks, Hero bets $0.25, Villain thinks for a minute, and calls. Turn: 9 Villain bets $0.10, Hero raises to $0.75, Villain Calls River: 8 Villain ...

A- It is, thanks. B- Ok. Yeah, I normally will have a loose plan like, "If they check, depending on turn I'll bet x amount" or "If they bet, I'll raise or fold." But it's generally pretty loose. Will start betting more as first action. Thanks.
