USA vs Brazil espn2 4:45est
I was at the game and I agree I thought Bradley and Johnson looked superb. The 4th goal for Brazil looked like offsides by 10 yards in the stadium. A friend texted me that he actually was on side.. can anyone confirm that' Overall I thought the US came out looking solid and lost momentum with some unfortunate goals. Clearly Brazil is the better team but I think the US can take some positives away from the game like the emergence of Johnson and the world class play of Bradley. Brazil flops so much by the way... drives me nuts. The Fed was bumping and I would say it was a 60/40 split ...

**2012 OT MLB Power Rankings - Memorial Day Edition**
Good write-ups guys. Immediate eye test without considering it in depth was Reds and Marlins too low and Cardinals too high. Glad to see the Nats get some love. I enjoy readings this rankings a lot keep up the good work.

Baseball Discussion May 14-20
Also in his 2nd at bat in which he grounded into a dp, he turned on an inside fastball that probably went about 400 feet foul. Looked like an absolute bomb off of the bat and ended up barely hooking. About 10 feet away from a 3 hr game. Don't know what it is about the Nats but Cutch owns us.

My order goes: 106.7 the fan if they are talking about Nats/Wiz/Skins if no, switch to 570 Am for SVP show if not on then DC 101 : 90s at noon is awesome. 80% of the time can't listen to the station in general because it is straight Foo Fighters/RHCP and I cant fucking take it. If not the 20% I can listen to then 97.9 Baltimore - If some stupid fucking Hinder song then switch to 94.7 generally terrible, switch to 95.5/93.9/99.5 all pretty bad but will occasionally catch some rap/pop song that I like and can work with BUT after 10PM it just becomes terrible go-go remixes of Ashley Simpson ...

I am fairly open to both sides of the death penalty debate but I have never understood this line of argument. Im shocked
I submit to you that the biggest issue for homosexuals is acceptance in society for what they are. When we decide to call it a civil union or argue over the definition of marriage, we are arguing semantics when I believe the overall issue is actually equality. Now granted you can take any stance on whether or not you believe homosexuals should be given equal rights or not, just understand that marriage is the proxy issue of debate that is a microcosm of the overall equality issue.

Thoughts on calling up Harper: Xavier Nady/ Mark Derosa are borderline useless at the plate and in the field. Harper could hit .100 and it probably wouldn't hurt this team as they are getting absolutely nothing out of those 2 guys. So overall I am glad they did it. I am curious what Johnson will do now, there was talk of moving Werth to center but I think the Nats are comfortable with Ankiel right now. Yep. Had the Yips and still got by playing college baseball. I can't throw the ball at a medium speed, I can only lob it or throw it 100%. If I could get over it myself I would give advice but I haven't so sorry. I did play outfield though so I guess you already figured that part for yourself.

Saints GM accused of wiretapping opposing coaches during games
This is probably right but just wanted to note that some Statute of Limitations don't begin to run until the claimant should reasonably acknowledge that an offense has taken place. Basically they would be able to argue that if they had no way of knowing that this was taking place they shouldn't get the case thrown out on a SOL defense. Not sure how that aspect will play out.

Yeah I mean Kershaw is obviously a beast. You can throw him in there and it just helps my cause. I had a whole post written comparing stats between Lee and Halladay, King Felix and Lincecum but my internet went out when I hit post and I lost it like a retard. I don't think the difference is negligible but I also don't feel like redoing it so I am ok with agreeing to disagree.

My compelling case for him not being the 2nd best pitcher in baseball is the following: Roy Halladay Felix Hernandez Tim Lincecum I would then probably go something like this: Lee Verlander Weaver Edit: no idea where Santana goes.. it is tough to compare someone who has been around for so long to someone like kershaw for example. ^ in no particular order then we get into Price, Cain, Beckett, Nate Cornejo, etc.

I don't disagree with you but I will say one thing. He has a mental throwing hitch and it gets worth each season. I had this issue in college and I can spot it when he is out there. He hesitates when throwing and drags his arm at an akward angle. Still has a hose but I actually think they will have to move him to 1b sooner than later. Hopefully Rendon is the real deal. I think Wright is significantly better than Zimm.

Cliff Lee is not the second best pitcher in the game. I thought you might have meant in the playoffs in which case I would have let it slide... but Cliff Lee is not the 2nd best pitcher in baseball. You guys are funny to me about this Lawrie thing.
