think i went 0/17 today or something on full tilt. When the sick beats start early and often, i just dont think u can have anything mentally left in the tank by around 3ish.....quick question...anybody notice a diffrence from getting a good nights sleep the night before, and being up late...does it really make that much of a diffrence' im just curious.

they run single table sattys as well for 290 or so i believe, and in the past they had single table sattys for 580 or so where the top 2 got seats, theyll be running those all night and probably on the first day of the event as well so that u can start on day 1b. As for it being sold out i doubt it, theyll get somewhere between 500-600 most likely.

So I've been playing on carbon poker for a while now cause the cash games are about as soft as your going to get on the internet, and about a week ago i satty'd into their APPT qualifier this saturday. A couple of days ago I decided to play another satty for this saturdays tournament assuming They would just credit my account with the money if I won which I did. I then asked them how come I wasn't compensated in any way for this, and I was told you can only use one ticket and I would get nothing for the second one I won including my buy in for the original satellite. ship it...with everyone folding to CL in the cutoff, and you yourself stating that hes fairly active and over raises medium strength hands of course hes going to be making a raise in the cutoff, also shortly has less than 10X the bb so hes probably also giving CL little respect and i see him shoving any medium ranged pair along with AT + best case scenario you have them both absolutely dominated tho i wouldnt be too worried about CL wrost case scenario you're in a coinflip, and if shortly shows up with AA thats just tought luck, go for a walk have a coke. Last thing you want to do is freeze ...

As stated before thats just a poor bet on the river, if you really think he possibly just had top pair or 9T maybe you check call the river. But leading out with a bet just gives him an oppurtunity to bluff you off the hand as hes not calling unless he only has top pair and hes folding/bluffing you if hes beat, and also raising if your beat. However, as also stated before this hand screams J8 or even quad 8 possibly.

First hand theres no way you should have folded, most players would bet out with top pair on the flop or at the very least check raise the flop, and to make it more obvious that you shouldn't have folded he bets into you on the turn. Now if he's not going to bet out on the flop with top pair why in the world would he bet out when he spikes trips on the turn. I'm not saying that it isn't a possibility, I just dont beilieve its likely in the daily double as the players just aren't creative enough. I would probably put him on JT or A9 or some small pp and he thinks it may be good because the Q ...
