Superbowl Sunday vs Poker Sunday
Never thought I would ever play poker during a Super Bowl but watching the Pack play in the big game instead of my Bears is pretty depressing. Don't think I have any choice but to grind the pain away while watching this brutal game.

Is Stars down for you guys?
Me too. Thought everyone was down but I guess not since play never stopped. My normal internet was fine...just a poker disconnect. Pretty brutal.

Re:ftp doug, WTF? can't raise call or fold on ftp
It's happened at least ten times to me now in the last two hours. I thought it was an isolated incident the one time. Very weird that I could play all day with no problems after the update and then all of a sudden the problem starts and keeps happening out of nowhere. Closing and opening tables and logging out/logging in works once in a while to fix it but not every time. Brutal.

Re:ftp doug, WTF? can't raise call or fold on ftp
Just happened to me in a Super Turbo satty as well. I was dealt a pair and wanted to shove a limp but had no buttons to act and timed out. Watched my set fall on the flop as it checked around and eventually a bigger stack shoved all in and I couldn't do anything about it. Three cards came out on the flop and three more on the turn. No problem at all on other tables running at same time. Hand history showed how three cards came out on flop and three more on turn so I emailed support the HH and hopefully they can fix the problem and make it right.

Re:Potawatomi Casino Milwaukee, WI
1. Go to Cubs game in Milwaukee on a weekend. 2. Hit up Milwaukee surprisingly money bar scene after game to celebrate Cubs win. 3. Catch a cab to Potawatomi and stack Billy Hall. 4. Wake up and be happy that the Cubs won and you stacked a Brewer. 5. Remember the Cubs haven't won a title in 100 years and go back to grinding SNGs.

Re:Full Tilt SFG Ftops 4 rant
I disagree. There should be more shootouts...I love 'em. I wish there was a daily double shootout or triple shootout and really wish there were multiple ones. If your theory is correct, why are you complaining about a tournament where more good players are rewarded than in a normal MTT of getting to the final table where the big money is. More shootouts please!!!

Don't be scared of 6-3...it's a solid hand when the time is right...especially SOOOOOTED. However, be sure to steer clear of 9-4..it zips you every time.

Re(2): Help us with a SNG Challenge Promotion
Doug, In response to some of the above posts, everyone has a different opinion on ideal blind structure. Just wanted to say that I think Full Tilt's structure of starting higher but progressing quicker but at smaller intervals is soooo much better than Stars and their hideous jump from 100-200 to 200-400 and their inclusion of antes. I play at Full Tilt primarily because of the structure and the promotions. Also, I would love the idea of offering rakeback to existing players....especially to those that have been loyal players for awhile. While I prefer FTP, Stars FPP system is very ...

Re(1): 1k and 2k sng hands
Hand one is most likely a fold. If I had a read on Festivuss that he would fold to a shove then of course its tempting. Definitely doesn't look like there is enough reward to take that risk though with j8. I don't like what your stack size ends up at if you call to cooperate and lose and again, who knows if your opponent would cooperate anyways. This hand would be more read dependent. As the stacks are, if you fold and festivuss wins, you are now heads up with plenty of chips to battle with your opponent. If mondongo wins, you now have the dominant stack and with the bb600 should be in ...

I am in shock...am I wrong here?
This hand happened at the last two tables of a six max Stars 55+5. Player jakz101 had been raising relentlessly and I had already reraised him once (with a strong hand though) even though we had only been at the same table for probably 10-20 hands. I assumed he was a LAG player and did not know at the time of the hand if he was a weak or strong player. I have 19 BB's in the BB(800) and he makes a standard 3x raise to 2400. Given his raising nearly every hand and our SB and BB positions I put hiis range on literally any two cards. I reraised half my stack (which may be a mistake) instead of ...

Re(3): $200 20k guaranteed turbo on FullTilt
Hope it makes you happy''' Geeez dude, relax. The result of one hand or one tourney doesn't faze me...just wanted to learn about the thought process. Not sure why you had to reply in this kind of tone, but I guess you're just frustrated at how the tourney ended. I never said a word at the table after the hand went down and certainly wished you no ill will. In my original post here I never said one bad thing about you besides stating my opinion on how one particular hand was played. In fact I said the opposite and praised your solid results over time and wished you luck the rest of the way in ...

Re(5): $200 20k guaranteed turbo on FullTilt
I know you have some solid results Ship, so I'd love to hear your explanation on this hand. If I were reraising your button raise or cutoff raise I can understand you maybe reshoving here if you wanted to go with a read or something. I am very curious though how you can reshove here when my reraise came from the position I was in with four players still to act behind me. I was absolutely dumbfounded to see you show 66 here. Seems like you should just fold and go on to the next hand with your 17 BB's since there's no way you're any better than racing, and only racing if you're lucky. You ...

Re(4): fun with noobs on the bubble ---sng
I think this is actually a pretty interesting hand. If it were the bubble, the AQ should be an obvious instafold. The OP called this the bubble but if I'm reading it correctly, we are in fact in the money. That changes the hand drastically. There is a lot bigger difference between first and second than second and third. I certainly would shove the 26 if the guy limped in the pot like that and I thought I had fold equity, but I think if I was the guy with AQ I would be shoving preflop. Not sure since the other guy is soooo short, it still may be a fold, but I think it's pretty close. The only ...

FTPDoug...Suggestion
The Full Tilt store upgrade a few months ago definitely added a lot of cool stuff. However, I am curious as to why Full Tilt doesn't offer $26 or $75 tokens or entries into the $162 nightly or the $400K guaranteed for an equivalent amount of FTP points. It seems as though it would be beneficial for Full Tilt to offer options to buy into tournaments with FTP points since then players may win more money which can be used to enter additional tournaments and provide Full Tilt with more rake. Conceivably, Full Tilt could end up getting more than what they "sold" with FTP points back in rake. Even ...

Re(4): Interesite Transfers
If you have an Epassporte account, you already have this option. It takes about one minute to withdraw from a poker site to Epass, and about one minute to move that money you just put in Epass from Epass to another poker site.....and there is no fee. The fees and the five business day wait periods are only involved when moving money between Epass and your bank account or vice versa, not moving money between sites and Epassporte.
