9-11 big blinds in tournament PP, shove or raise?
I'd recommend just shoving as your go-to default, but you should have no problem if you were to make a small open raise>> "letting" them call with 24o or hit a set (which they didn't have odds on in the first place)...them calling is a good thing, not a bad thing imo, whether you win or lose the hand (assuming you have a semi-premium hand or better like 77 and up to start the hand).

6-Max vs. Regular MTTs
If there are 4 players to your left in a full ring or 4 players to your left in a 6-max, it will be relatively similar amounts of exposure. Ideally, as others mentioned, try and be more aggro,...but remember to keep adjusting to the table conditions (ie if they are raising a bunch you might 3-bet more often, if they are 3 betting opens more often you will need to choose to either slow down and not open as light or 4-bet).

Is this a standard/good move?
As mentioned, depends on the 3 bet %/fold to 3 bet % of the re-raiser...35bbs isn't a bad 4 bet stack obv, but definitely spewtardish (if you don't have any better reason than...um I want to gamble and try and get 1st...). As mentioned, not terrible, but largely history/stats dependent imo.

wwyd AQ?
As played you have to go with the hand imo, though checking turn might be a very good option here for many reasons. You didn't really use much pot control here. Just pre-flop and on the flop you put in roughly 1k in chips...33% of your stack, substantial. All of that said, you had less than 40 bbs to start the hand,...so not terrible stacking off (though multi-way obv it's riskier than hu/isolated).

Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Directory
Don't stay at the Rio, you will be boxed in like no other. I didn't read the thread but here are my general recommendations: Panorama or Palms place are pricey, but super close which is nice as you can go there to eat your meals (same cost as the Rio if you find a month to month lease). Get a place with a kitchen and the normal luxuries of living...you don't want to be stuck in a hotel imo. There are a bunch of houses for really cheap around town b/c of the down economy, sharing a house might be a viable option (but, again, closer the better ((and it's hard to find a nice house close to the ...

Definitely what wiv said pretty much is true; a very important part of becoming a successful player (and like he mentioned, especially if multi-tabling).

77 in a limpt pot WWYD
Bottom line is you can't stack off for 70bbs here with 77, listen to Manch. You lose to wayyyy more hands than you beat (beat you do beat a6:).

clearly AA and easy fold with QQ here? wwyd?
Pretty much what Dyz said, keep in mind he "told you he had AA or KK pre"...stacking off with qq for 150 bbs is not recommended obv. Play a smaller pot at all cost.

3b/f JJ 50BB deep???
Ugly flat imo, unless you ship it in when you miss like Dyz mentioned. Imo find out what country your opponent is from and fold pre to USA and auto-ship anyone from Bulgaria/etc. If you did have a read on him, seems like an auto-fold if he's a nit obv. Also, it isn't like you're playing a baller in the $100 rebuy, the vast majority of the time at the low stakes you are well below his range w/ JJ imo.

Poker After Dark is one big level
Agreed, seems the only format that is truly exciting is the high stakes PAD cashgames...the sng format is sooooo boring imo. Love Matusow, but watching him play 8/6/1.0 is getting old as well (and he barely even talks trash anymore, ugg). This is what happens when you don't have competition in the marketplace...same players, same shows, meet the new boss - same as the old boss. Sick post Popper.

Did I play this right?
Wrong. You want to get "value" from worse hands, not have them fold. If you are charging them the wrong price (ie not giving them good odds to call), it's acceptable to let them hit their set....as it's a long-run positive ev spot.
