The Julian Assange Show: Occupy Movement
Wrong. He has not been charged. The police interviewed him after the alleged rapes and dropped their charges while Assange was still in Sweden. The case was later reopened by a director of Prosecutions who wanted to pursue Assange for questioning. He's wanted for questioning only, there is no charge against him.

Assange doesn't single out the US. There is dirt on alot of countries, just nothing that had the same political impact as the Collateral Murder video. Fwiw, Assange just lost his appeal to be extradited to Sweden so pretty sure he isn't safe there. The absurdity of the whole saga is that he was under house arrest in the UK for over a year while his appeal was being processed without even being charged with anything.

The Bracket has been setup on the espn website. Everyone who wants to play, pm me your emails so I can send you invites to the group. Deemer is going to be holding so everyone that wants in please ship to his stars acc, or his paypal (you will have to pm him for the details). Obviously, anyone that has not paid by the start of the tournament (June 8) will not be eligible for prizemoney.

Prediction pool sounds interesting. I'm def interested in doing that also. Might edit OP just to clarify the type of pool I have in mind. Hmm too late for edit. Just to clarify my pool is just for the winning team of euro 2012 (if you didnt get that already) no predictions. As I said, we can do draft order over skype to ensure fairness. Basically, each player will get 2 picks assuming we do an 8 man comp. I think $20 each is not extreme just so we can include the lesser degens. Can I start locking people in now'

Lunch mathup bracket: Elite 8
Discuss matchups here. Results from round 3 are in post #68 You get a nice Spanish lunch. Several courses over a few hours. You can't injure or kill them, can't change or be a part of history. Can meet them at any time in their life but it is for lunch, not to witness any event. Thanks for everybody voting properly thus far, has been awesome. Oscar was only 23 in his first Chavez fight. Pretty reasonable to think he wasn't ready to fight Chavez at 20-21. Chavez only had one loss when he fought Oscar, sure he wasn't in his prime but he wasn't a decrepit old man either. The truth is Oscar was too big for an aging Chavez. Delahoya didn't duck anyone either. He sought out all the big names in his division, even going after Hopkins at middleweight, something Mayweather would never do. Canelo Alvarez won't fight Mayweather yet and it doesn't make him a pussy because he's ducking Mayweather, he's just too young and green to face someone ...

I wouldn't bag the klitchko brothers. Vitali was giving Lennox Lewis a tough fight before a doctor stopped the fight for a cut. Lewis never gave him a rematch and quickly retired. If the Klitschko brothers decided to face eachother I think the Heavyweight division would be somewhat entertaining.

It's not smart business. The longer it draws out, the worse it will be. Both fighters are already in the twilight of their respective careers. I would much rather watch them fight in their primes. This fight should have happened 3 years ago when everyone wanted to see it. And the loser won't lose PPV draw, if it is a close entertaining fight, everyone will want a rematch.

I don't buy this. Oscar was never won to bulk up the day after weigh-in. Sorry but the 20lb comment is rubbish, apart from one fight at middleweight, Oscar never weighed in this range for his fights at junior middle. The last time he actually weighed this for the fight against Sturm, which was several years earlier, he was ridiculed for looking pudgy. Secondly, Oscar wasn't dehydrated for the Manny fight. He actually spent the last 2 months prior around welter so he wouldn't have to dehydrate/rehydrate and be left weak for the fight. Are you deliberately trolling' Hagler is an all-time ...
