stayed in all of them, MGM is the nicest by far. The new MGM casino and all of foxwoods is HUGE though. It's a pretty far walk from MGM hotel rooms to foxwoods poker room. It was worth it at first but after awhile I got sick of walking back and forth. If you dont want to walk, stay in grand or great, not two trees. Two trees, you actually have to walk outside.

Get VMware fusion to run your windows only applications like cake / bodog / ub. Vmware is just a program you run while in Mac OSX that lets you run windows while staying in mac osx. I just run vmware with windows vista on my 2ndary monitor i use for poker. Boot camp is nice but I like VMware a lot more because you can run both Mac OS and widnows OS at the same time. You can even use a feature called "unity" on vmware which lets you move your windows programs on MAC OS just like it was a mac program, you can't tell the difference.

yeah there's a program called VNC that lets you view your desktop remotely through your phone. You can actually use the mouse and use it like a real computer but it's incredibly slow and you would never be able to actually play using this. You can only use it if your on a WIFI network too, not on 3g.

FT and stars work good but bodog / UB etc don't have mac clients. I just run VMware and they work great.

no experience renting a house there but the radisson was pretty nice and fun to stay at. All the poker players in one hotel at a lot of the same bars made for some pretty good times.

lol @ karma, soxfan's 34c was prtty standard against FOT min raising pretty often, not that bad at all. Soxfan only talks trash because of all the crying from FOT in the chat after. Obv, sox wants fish to fold, he doesn't really think his hand is better. Not sure why i'm even explaining this. ps yes I do know Sox IRL obv.

Yeah I just got a mac and set up VMfusion (they have a 30 day trial) you will buy it for the 80 bucks though, it works awesome. I haven't tried parrells but I don't see any issues with VMfusion. Do not buy your ram from apple though, it is WAY overpriced. For me it was 6-800 more for like 2 gigs. I bought 4 gigs off of for 120 bucks.

def. need passport I also stayed at the radisson for the tournament and was pretty dissapointed. The rooms were nice but the food service was pretty bad, if you wanted a hot meal durinng the day at the hotel you prtty much had to order pretty bad room service or go to a really nice sit down restaurant/bar. Other then that they had a pretty terrible sandwhich station. The Rui(sp') palace looked awesome from the outside but I never got a chance to go over there, the westin was really nice too.
