Table Ninja Investigate StackAndTile software. The monthly fee is a bit of a joke, but it lets you use combinations of stacking and tiling. I find it excellent. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Shoving with junk on the button?..... I shove 9To in that spot each and every time. You have less than 10 BB and reallllllly, 9To ain't that bad to shove with (actually plays okay against a lot of the BB / SB calling ranges). Posted in: Poker Discussion |

BB/100 in Tournaments (MTTSNGS!) It's not hard to have a 1300 losing stretch at 180s. Just don't put it all down to luck. Make sure you are reviewing your hands to see where you may be getting into trouble. Analysing your HEM database (as you are doing) is a good idea and I think an under rated way to work on your game. It is possible to be positive in terms of BB won at all levels and still have lost. If you lose a big flip when the blinds are huge, this might be a small amount of BBs, but a big amount of chips. At least I think this is what you are asking' I have probably explained that quite poorly... In terms of ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

is this standard play from f******** b********** ZOMG your aces got cracked! Fuck quick someone call the authorities. Seriously...If you think that was a beat worth posting then you haven't had your arse banged hard enough, without lube, bent over your computer, praying it will end soon. Posted in: Bad Beats |

Is this line good So you like the replies that you agree with' Not sure why you would even bother posting this hand' Instead of asking 'is this line good', you should have said 'if you agree with my line, please say so'. The whole point of posting hands is to hear people's views on what you did. FTR if you have to get involved in this hand I agree that a jam is okay, but I would be folding pre. I'm guessing this is a low / micro buyin and in my experience deso000 may not fold easy and I don't love how your hand plays against his range. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Calling Seasoned SNG Players Nothing is impossible. I have played about 15 000 games lifetime and am on the end of a revolting 2500 downswing. Your 'bad' stretch is totally possible. Don't use the bad luck as an excuse though. Review your hand histories and make sure you are on top of the game. You have to improve continually. Good luck. Posted in: Bad Beats |

EV discussion People who say that looking at EV data won't improve your game are technically correct. What it will do though, is give you some confidence when things are not going well. I mean if you are deep in a downswing and see your adjusted EV miles above your actual winnings, you can feel a bit better about your play. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Question with a brag attached Yeah I know what you mean. I made some tidy profit over a pretty big sample on bwin / Tilt / party / titan but couldn't win a dime on stars. Bigger fields I know, better players maybe, but luck is just a faceless bitch sometimes. Posted in: Poker Community |

expected/projected ROI for Merge SNGS..? 1500 games is not really a meaningful sample and 15% is SMOKING HOT for STTs - so I don't know if these stats are worthwhile. Posted in: Poker Community |

Possible $2.50 turbo 180-man SNG comp if anyone is interested? I am interested. Competitions normally make me run worse, and right now, I would need to start losing 105 % / -5% flips to make that happen. Posted in: Poker Community |

Best Poker PCs If you are using HEM then the one of the most important things you can do is use a SSD (solid state drive) instead of a standard one. I have found it makes a huge difference; especialy with a lot of tables open. Posted in: Poker Community |

Consolidated Fold AA/KK Preflop Thread 1. You should be playing on sites where the players are bad, not calling a site 'home' because there are good players there. 2. If your KK has run into AA 'most' of the 3-4 times you have got it all in (3 times') then this is an itty-bitty tiny patch of run bad. Most times (over a decent sample) the result will be different. 3. Never, ever, fold KK pre flop in a $20 18 man SNG. 4. The quality of play does improve as you go up the stakes but you see terrible rubbish all the way up the SNG 'food chain' (I can only speak for up to $109 because that is as far as I have played). Most of my ... Posted in: Bad Beats |
