Anyone diversify outside of poker?
There are a lot of synergies between poker and trading. My plan is to walk away from poker with at least $250k to trade on. My bro trades a similar roll so to speak, earns 1% a day on average. His strategy is simple, if he sees something thats trading outside of its normal trading range, he'll put in a large position and get out in sometimes seconds. Buy AMZN $250k worth, 90 seconds later, sell it for a $5k profit...sick life.

best way to prepare for a live tourney
Don't go in there with a set strategy. You are doomed to fail. To say "do this and that to your range" is going to put you at a disadvantage. Performance enhancing drugs
Adderall can be highly addictive. In addition to this downswing + lack of adderall can lead to severe depression and prolong downswings. There are tons of natural ways you can enhance your focus etc. Everyone wants to take the easy way out, however, proper diet, sleep, exercise, and natural supplements would be recommended. Ginko biloba is awesome. Don't screw yourself long-term for short-term gain.

THAT'S EXACTLY THE INFO I AM SEEKING. I understand that the #1 Ranking will rotate, it could rotate minute by minute for all we know, but to have a true and unfiltered sample of ALL great players' results would be awesome

My question was posed from the perspective of a fishy poker fan like myself. I understand your POV but we humans tend to be naturally curious. But the "you know what you have to do, to be ranked, can't be any fairer than that." further arouses my curiosity.

As it relates to this reply, I think if every ONLINE MTT were result were downloaded, sorted, and points were awarded accordingly, it would be easy to determine. If Poker Table Ratings is able to do this without bias for cash games, then it can be done for tourneys. Take Golf for instance, if world rankings were organized as it relates to the PGA tour and not all other tours, then Tiger Woods would still be world's #1. Again, I just think it would be cool to see who was the most profitable player across all major sites, for the year ending 2010. I apologize that my curiosity is so offensive...

I am wondering because I noticed P5's only tracks members who divulge their online names. I've seen guys with stats that are absolutely sickening while railing various high stakes tourneys. No offense to Mr. Young, but based on the results I've seen, there is no way he is the #1 MTT player in the world if you take into account, EVERY ONLINE MTT player.

The two plus two poker cast mentioned there'd be streaming coverage online through ESPN 3 I think. They also mentioned something about there being a 1 hour delay in the feed. Listen to the last poker cast of 2010, you'll see what I'm talking about. They just didn't mention WHEN.

Continue online poker or find a job?
Have you considered learning how to trade in the markets' My plan is to ultimately transition from poker to trading. A lot of the same skills come into play. You have a finance background so it should be a natural progression. I've read every book by Jack D. Schwager and tons more and have split my time working on poker and studying the markets. My bro started 8 years ago with $15k, and is now balling out of control. He has never been profitable at poker, but is not a terrible player... It confounds me.

The question wasn't weather or not he'd be there. He'll definitely be there, especially for the side games. No question. The question was about the bracelet. Him wearing a WCOOP BRACELET or participating in any ceremony where the bracelet is awarded is akin to him wearing a Poker Stars patch.

A contract breach, is a contract breach sir. I'm not big shot businessman, but I have enough business education to know that the FTP administrative / legal people surely placed covenants and riders in his contract to protect against this exact type of situation. I'm willing to bet you whatever you can afford I'm right here.

Absolutely not. No way he'll be seen with adornments from a competing site. I bet it's contractual with FTP. I bet he only played because he had some ridiculous prop bet that he'd win... Probably got 3:1 on a $1 million or something like that.
