Rousey VS Tate: Warning-Its a pretty disgusting end to the fight
of course you can blame the ref.. anyone with just a little bjj knowledge would have been intelligent enough to stop the fight.. there's a point where an arm will inevitably get ruined and the fight will be over whether she taps or not.. he could have stopped it somewhere on or before that point.. obviously, she should have tapped, however.

(Yay or Nay) Bama/LSU rematch in BCSCG?
it's ok to be an SEC homer if your team finishes the season with only 1 or 2 losses with one of them being to the eventual national champion.. it's not ok to be an SEC homer if your team is vandy, tennessee, kentucky, georgia, ole miss, etc. to compensate for your shitty team.. also, georgia and s carolina are decent teams but would both lose to 10 or so teams and are nowhere near the skill level of ark/bama/lsu who are all good enough to be national champ in any other year.

fair enough.. seems like it could happen as long as there's no playoff system though. btw, have you ever seen a turnover on downs kneeling sequence from opponents own 2 with 5+ minutes left in a game' don't think i have.. also, how many RBs does LSU have on their roster, and do you think they are all trained to be backup players in the secondary'

Anyone else feel LSU totally ruined Mississippi State's promising season' Mississippi State had just turned the corner and finally started believing they weren't the same Mississippi State before playing LSU.. hmm come to think of it, they probably did the same thing to WVU in a single kickoff return. They sure were jacked up before that kickoff return.

thread is pointless.. it's gonna be LSU vs Bama even if Arkansas beats LSU... which won't happen. LSU will beat Ark just as bad or worse than Bama did. compare LSU and Bama common opponents.. every final score/margin of victory is almost identical.

I hate Brock, but it's hard to discount the fact he was fighting with diverticulitis. He clearly hasn't been the same fighter in his last few fights b/c of it (not to say any of them would have gone much differently). His "gassing" was most likely due to his illnesses though. I have gastrointestinal problems, and I'd be incredibly useless after the first 10 seconds of a fight. The fact that he's fighting the best in the world despite these problems says alot about him as an athlete. Do I think he'd beat the top 3 heavyweights (Overeem/Cain/JDS) more often than not' no.. I'm a major LSU fan and favor the SEC vs all other conferences, but everyone cheats based on NCAA rules. Some schools are just better at it than others, otherwise everyone would be on probation or have sanctions.

Anyone watch the WSOP circuit national championship tonight?
Played with Sam on my opening table in that tournament, and his play was interesting to say the least. In the first blind level, he accidentally threw in a 5k chip on 3 different occasions.. one on the river of KQJ98 board when he was trying to call a 2,100 bet (he made it 7,000 on accident then folded to shove). He opened for 15x preflop at 100/200 no ante and proudly showed AA when everyone folded. He opened 4x at 100/200 with 44 and check/called every street vs my JJ on 4222K board. He said he thought I had a 2. He seemed like a nice guy at least.

Lesnar out, Carwin in vs Dos Santos - UFC 131
The odds for Lesnar vs JDS were weird to me. I think JDS would have knocked out Brock very easily. Brock is a one dimensional fighter with awkward slow looping punches and sick wrestling. He hates to get hit and would have gotten hit harder than Cain hit him in their fight. The odds to this fight should have been similar to what the line opened at in this JDS/Carwin fight... like -260/+200. I can understand the odds, however, b/c of Lesnar's popularity and name recognition to the general public. JDS odds were a steal bettingwise. The odds for Carwin vs JDS were even weirder to start. You'd probably be fine this weekend. They are giving a 3-5 day warning before opening the other spillway. Houma itself isn't expected to be get too bad anyways, but everyone's so vague at this point that it's hard to know if they even know what they're talking about.

tough to say/know at this point.. everything is quite uncertain, but looks like new orleans should be ok from everything i've read/watched.. they'll do whatever it takes to protect the city even if it means flooding other parishes to do so by opening up morganza spillway.
