Turbo SNG leak?
before i write this whole post, i must admit that I've been running terribly in turbo sngs for a couple of months. and i keep just passing it off as variance, but maybe i need to plug a leak. I'm thinking that it's often harder and more stressful being a winning player than it is to be a losing player. What i mean is, much of the time, I am taking bad beats more than i'm giving bad beats. For the last few months, I've been losing a TON of 60/40s. Most of the time, i'm a 60 and i just cant seem to hit a flop when i'm calling a shove with AJs and they're shoving ...

actually, the plural of hole in one is holes in one. it is not hole in ones. It's kind of like cup of sugar. the plural of cup of sugar is cups of sugar, not cup of sugars. on another note, the plural of attorney general is attorneys general, not attorney generals.

so i got a lottery ticket for my birthday
So this lady (i've known her since before i worked there) at the office i work at gave me lottery tickets for my birthday. she gave me 3 scratch offs - i lost all 3. In fact, i realized that i've NEVER won money on a scratch off. I've only scratched like 10 tickets ever tho. But she also gave me one NJ State Lottery ticket for the PM Pick 3 on 7/31/09. I was born on 7/31/84, but for some reason, she thought my birthday was 8/01/84, so she played 801 straight. well, it hit. I won 152.50. only losing to J9, J8, J7, and JJ. if he's a nit, then we're only losing to JJ. therefore, yes this is a jen tilly hand. The check call on the river is incredibly weak. EDIT: i like the check on the river bc it's the only way we can get all the chips. that should be the ONLY reason we're checking this river. If we lead out, there's not much chance that he raises with his straight. however, if we check, he bets, and we raise, we're extracting max value with the virtual nuts.

that's not the issue. I could probably figure it out, but i'm really not sure how many VPPs you earn per sng. it's the fact that i emailed stars and asked them that question, and they pointed me to the fucking stupid calculator that doesnt tell you shit!
