People are "spending" their bankroll on tournaments' Seems like a leak IMO. When I'm actually playing and give a shit...I play like $200-$300 of tournaments a day. Not so much today...thanks for crashing FTP.

This hand is no good preflop as stated above. Seems like an easy fold to me. Of course I would check-fold this flop to begin with. The only card I really like seeing here is an offsuit 6. I guess an offsuit 7 is an okay card. The Jack and Nine are very very likely to make someones higher straight in this spot. Even good wraps are not that great when a flush draw is out.

Its ridiculous to have such a wide area in the tournament payout the same. It completely changes the game. I am all for a top heavy payout, this just isn't the way to do it.

lol @ this payout schedule $25 to 361st-3581st. You have to be in the top 1.5% to get into the second payout tier. I couldn't really care less about the money unless I finish super deep, but this payout schedule is going to make play after the bubble absolutely ridiculous.

Assuming you mean .25/.50 NL....good luck getting payed off 90% of the time. Maybe if you own a time machine and go back to play on party from 2 years ago. 6 max is definately a lot looser(obv it should be looser but these guys pay off in spots where you would never see in full ring and is no better in 6 max). You will find most of the players even at this level are extremely solid and far far far better than your average $10 MTT player.

Low Limit HU rake issues(Stars/FTP policy change...)
I really enjoy playing Heads Up. Obviously I am a low limit player and would like to play .25/.50 NL HU on stars or FTP. Unfortunately the rake practically forces me into HU SNGs(if I play HU at all). The rake is absurd. Against any semi competent opponent I know we both lose over the long run. Lets face it. The rake we pay is completely un-proportional to the service we receive to begin with. We deal with it because it is beatable. It may be true its possible to beat .25/.50 NL HU, regardless the rake is ridiculous and the game is very marginal. I'd like to see some kind of rake ...

lol @ not wanting a shirt. Plenty of stuff you can do other than the shirts. Although I did spend my first 500 FPPs on a shirt and got on of the ashton martin shirts(because they don't suck as much as the other ones and were a steal at 300 FPPs).

Same as mentioned above... Won $5 or something in an AP freeroll. Took second in a $2 MTT the next day for $87 I believe. Never used any outside money for poker. Not nearly as hard as you might think. It is tougher now, but there used to be a ton of private freerolls you could get into that your EV was $5 or more(just considering prizepool/entrants...not skill). I think I've won aproximately $2k in private freerolls, some of which I admittedly had no business being in.

I'm guessing 90%+ of issues security bans accounts for has nothing to do with "playing tournaments" or "grinding cash games". Most of the issues are probably money laundering or some sort of fraud. So please inform us "I never even committed fraud or anything".

I hear the bellagio 1k is wayyyyyyy softer than the $1500 WSOP event. Yeh its high variance, but it doesn't change the fact that this is probably the softest tournament with a buyin over $500 of the year.

Fold seems fine. Really depends on if you feel like this guy is just isolating enough of the time to make it a shove. Which he clearly was in this case, but that doesn't make it a bad fold. Def don't wanna get the old AAxx vs AAxx vs 3579 going on. Definately 3 bet when the guy pots it and you have AA though. That likely would have saved you a lot of trouble.

Contracts are always ridiciulous. Get used to it. Relax...if you win the WSOP I'm pretty sure you can negotiate a deal. If I won the WSOP the efff If I would be happy to take their standard deal. Sure it sounds like FTP is doing this awesome promotion. When in reality I'm guessing being the 2008 WSOP champ is worth more than 1 mil a year.

Assuming you are mostly an MTT player take some time off and learn how to play SNGs. Will help your MTT game in a ton of spots. Especially HU, where you are relatively short most of the time.
