I haven't seen the show, but a lot of times when you see some kind of contests on TV or like at a fast food chain, there will be a list of states where people are not eligible to win, or it will say void where prohibited or something along those lines, some states have lotteries some don't etc. I don't know if there are restrictions on the contests that you are talking about, but that could be one way that they keep it legal.

Skuurvy When you joined the military didn't you have to take adrug test' I did, and the recruiter took me to a local clinic to get it done before I went to MEPS, to ensure that I was clean (illegal I think). Also a lot of NCO's, regardless of MOS, have to be observers during the random drug testing, conducted at the company level.

You call me an idiot and a faggot, your personal attacks only prove your ignorance. I never said that the OP was normal, I don't know him, and this is the first post that I have read by him. I just think that is it funny to listen to how people rationalize breaking the law, and that is not to say that I have always been a model citizen, I just feel like the laws are there, obey them, or go somewhere else.

If you really think that high prices in the emergency room are not the fault of illegal immigrants you may want to look into it a little more. The reason U.S. citizens, particularly ones with jobs, pay such high prices for health care is because we pay for those who cannot or simply do not....ie Illegal immigrants who do not have insurance, and use the E.R. as their primary healthcare provider.

I fell asleep on the train this morning and some old lady had to waake me up when it got to the last stop. I was like 8 stops pat where I was supposed to get off, in turn 30 minutes late for work. Wouldn't have happened if I hadn't stayed up all night playing poker.

I went through a similar situation, the best thing to do imo is to stop multi tabling and just play one at a time, maybe lower than yor usual buy in, until you can get it under control. It won't take long good luck, with the quitting and at the tables.

Not as well known as some of the others, but I played in a Tourney at the Borgata, right before the WSOP kicked off and was at a table with Dan Shak, he was really nice, funny too, I didn't expect it as he seemed pretty quiet during the USPC, Also I met Phil Laak at the WPT Borgata winter open. I'm not sure if anyone is having more fun than that guy. Was really nice to everyone and definitely entertaining to be around.

I used to play at the Trop, because it seemed that there were mostly drunk college aged kids, I am young myself so I fit right in, that would blow 300 in a 1-2 game in acouple of hours. When I moved up in stakes the Trop no longer offered the games I wanted to play in. Their highest games are 5-10NL, which rarely runs in my experience, and 7.50-15 LHE, which is the craziest game in town. When I moved up to 20-40 LHE, the Borgata was the only game in town. Calling a raise, just because you feel you must "defend your blind" is a mistake. In the log run calling a raise with trash especially oop is definitely -ev but that should go without saying. Once you post the blind it is gone, it isn't yours anymore and it doesn't need to be defended. Just my opinion.

During a tournament that I was dealing (believe it was a shootout) Ther are like 7 players to the flop. The flop comes K 2 Q. Couple of checks, a young lady in mid position bets out about half the pot. Everyone folds except for an older gentleman in the 8 seat who min raises. The turn is a Q. The lady bets about two thirds of the pot and the old guy calls. The river is a J. The lady pushes all in and the guy calls. The lady flips over K 10, the guy turns up K 2 and gets all excited and tries to scoop the pot. I stopped him and started to chop it up and he informs me that he wins the whole pot ...

Does anyone else think folding QQ here is an acceptable play, I wasn't there and don't have all the info, but if I knew that if I busted here I would split the cash, I would have seriously considered a fold. Definitely not saying it was a bad call seems pretty standard. One thing that bothers me that I don't think has been brought up is that yourtimeisup said something about a guy making a resteal.
