Anybody else fall asleep on the couch?
I do exactly like the OP almost every single night. I also like the background noise of tv and quite often set the sleep timer. I thought I was in the minority because girls I have been with and guys I have traveled with always give me a hard time about wanting the tv on.

Not a huge fan of the whole urban skiing thing but a cool video none the less. Came across this vid a few days ago when I was trying to find some videos from Revelstoke because I am going there in about a month. Cant wait to hit the powder there, looks unreal.

Married 72 years and dies one hour apart.
My grandparents were married for 65 years and Grandma just passed away last weekend, funeral was on Monday. As in the OP they were a true love story. Grandpa stayed at the hospital by himself on the last night she was alive. He also stayed in the room all night holding hands until she passed. Everyone in the family just wishes they could have gone together and nobody expects him to last another year. He was holding on for her and now that she is gone, he is ready to go as well. So sad to see him all alone now after having someone there for the last 65+ years.

Quitting blazing
been chronic for 15 years or so and have also recently been thinking of quitting. My biggest reason is I actually feel more burned out than I used to. Cant stay up very late at all and always need a nap before going out. Do the people that quit think that they have more energy or motivation to do things or are you just more clear headed like others are saying'

Anyone like Dream Theatre??
not that Im a big fan, I just like the older vibe in DT. I havent listened to either of those bands but my bro used to mention OSI alot. Im not doing anything so maybe I will check it out. I think it might have been a post in OT that tipped me off to this Joe Bonamassa guy. I have really been digging this band of his with Derek Sherinian lately.

Anyone like Dream Theatre??
Was my fav band for about 10 years but I am not as much a fan of the newer stuff. Although I think Jordan Rudess is a better keyboard player, I kind of like the old vibe with Kevin Moore or Derek Sherinian. Always a great show and I agree with with the resident rocket surgeon that Metropolis 2000 was the best. Actually the live in new york for that album might be the highlight. Oddly enough that was with Jordan Rudess.
