My Well: P0KERPR033 Hey Jim you are an absolute stud! No questions from me just wanted to pay my respects to the online legend. This summer you and bry get free lessons, driving range time, and golf anytime you want (well when its slow at my club obv). We are gonna get you guys shooting par in no time! But in all seriousness thanks for the things you taught me, you really opened my eyes to a lot of the things i was missing/doing wrong in my game. I am one of the luckiest grinders in this community in the sense that I have a network of friends that have the sickest poker minds. I feel very fortunate to have ... Posted in: Poker Community |

Interesting spot in the Sunday Warm Up with KK Ok so in this spot BB is sitting out and I felt like the sb was just gonna attack me cuz it looks like I'm just trying to pickup the dead blinds. Only read I have on the player is that he is a winning player but we have no history yet as we are pretty early on in the tournament. Interested to see how some people would go about this situation. JJ on a ragged board oop against a lagg? I'd say given your read on the villain this is just a cooler =( I'm pretty nitty and I probably won't fold here if I have found the villain to be pretty active and aggressive. Unlucky situation sir Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Turn spot deep in 42K gtd agree with imamonster.... probably just jamming the turn for a couple reasons. A. you already have a large percentage of your stack committed to the pot. B. You could possibly have the best hand and hope to get called by 99 88 77 66 etc.. C. The Q is a good card for your perceived range and could possibly get him to fold a jack (although very unlikely). I probably don't play the hand the way you did preflop but given the action I am just not giving up here and just moving allin and praying for folds/calls from worse. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hand in 5050 vs a Solid Reg I am not sure if I am overthinking this hand..... but wouldn't this be a pretty bad spot for him to bluff if he views me as a semi-competent player' I mean all the obvious draws have missed and I feel like he should know on the turn that I have atleast KQ+ when I double barrel after raising from early position. So when I check this river to him I feel like he knows that I am intending to bluff catch. Like I stated before vs a complete random I am snap calling but vs a solid competent player I think it becomes a little tricky. Like riverkiller said I don't think he is going to be value ... Hand in 5050 vs a Solid Reg Elitewrestla is a solid reg I am pretty sure. When he called the flop I was not too worried.... but then when he flats the turn it felt a little weird. Then when he blasts the river like this I feel like my hand is pretty defined and he should know that I am trying to bluff catch. So how often is he bluffing on this river that this is a must call' I 100 percent snap call this river vs a random.... should it be the same vs a solid reg' Full Tilt Poker Game #27224070040: The Fifty-Fifty (209481881), Table 78 - 15/30 - No Limit Hold'em - 21:47:33 ET - 2011/01/12 Seat 1: CaseQuarter (876) Seat ... AKhh facing monster iso reshove Thanks for the replys guys I guess this is a part of my game that I need to overcome. Need to stop being scared of sticking it in in big spots like this in fear of busting out. I guess part of the reason why I fold this spot sometimes is I feel like I am picking up chips easily playing small pots vs the weaker opponents so sometimes I don't see the need to go crazy in a spot like this. But I guess I need to start doing that to get that monster stack! Thanks again guys Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Help settle a longtime dispute Tigerram and Billsfan Jam this all day..... and I'm a nit! I think at this stage in the tourney I'm not too worried about gettin it in bad. Blinds are 125/250 you have 6bbs with barely any equity left in the tourney. Take a chance, suck out, do watever you can to stay afloat in this type of situation. I'd be more comfortable busting out of the tournament losing K4 to watever calls me here then waiting to get my last 3-4bbs in with AJ and lose to KQ. I shove here almost all the time but its very player dependent for sure. Edit: In a tourney I jam in a turbo I fold. I just feel like in a turbo ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Line check w/ QQ in 50-50 I flat all streets given the size of his bets. His line represents some 8s as well as some kings, so I think its kind of meh to go for a thin value raise without any reads or history with this player. I like the way the hand was played. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Easiest Squeeze Spot Ever, Right? Raise to 5500...... Jam any flop.... turn ace river Q.... collect chipsamortis =) I think just setting up yourself for a shove on any flop is gonna be your best play. SInce it is the late night 11r donkament, I imagine theres a lot of donks that will superflat here if your reraise is too small... and you're probably just gonna hate yourself when you see the JTo on the T63 board....
