Favorite Online Poker Memory: FT Stars 3r finishing 5th for 1400. First online win in 2006 on Paradise Poker for 600. Least Favorite Online Poker memory: Stars 3r FT...3/5 got it all in against chip leader with AA vs his 55....KQ8...5...x. GG me. nope not here! Usually run my JJ-KK into AA or my AK into AQ. AQ owns AK btw. Oh and A9 seems to be the best Ax hand nowadays.

Mhoddi has hit the nail on the head. I was lucky enough to have never deposited. Won a few freerolls for $5 and $10 bucks back in 2003/2004 and took off from there. However, in this day and age I doubt I would be that successful/lucky as the play is much better now, not to mention the mine field of players one has to go through. To give yourself the best shot you need to play within your bankroll, take advantage of rake and deposit bonus. The "take a shot" when you have a good month or two. Though don't invest more than 5% on any one buyin. Best of luck and grind away my friend.

From the short time I have played these $5/$10 level (~1000) I would most regulars are running around 3-5% though several are playing upwards of 20-30 tables at once. As for style..if you have the concepts of mtt satellite play you will do fine in this format. One thing to note...identify early the regulars and if more than 3-4 are at a table find another table. IMO... GL

How sick is this....
In the Stars 3rebuy tonight....160 left. Chip leader 1.1million at break 4....previous break she, yes she, had 1400. 1400 (14 hundred) to 1.1 million in an hour! Just watched her in two hands go from 350k to 900k.

Obviously Stars doesn't want to give this World Record up nor all the PR that goes with it. Should FT take their Record they can then brag they are the site with the largest tournament ever held, yadda yadda yadda. Stars could make this tournament $10 buyin and still get 60-70k IMO. Thoughts on the final number' I say: 104,551 (given they don't cap it)
