Tar, Looks like you got lots of feedback on this thread, but in case if it's not dead... I've played your way in many, many live cash games and it's not that horrible of a play, I've profited considerably from this opening move. However, to be ready for it you must know how to play after the flop based on your image and the opponets you face. Also, if you play any 'gap' concept you have to have stronger hand to call a raise as opposed to make an initial raise. SO, raising EP in MMT can keep many hands out and you may take the precious blinds. Time is such a factor in MMT vs. Cash game which ...

Get your Tivo on! He took 3rd and I love the way the guy operates. He's improved my own table talk, I already do some of the stuff like annoucing your actions as if it's a required step. I find that gets people silly tilt faster than anything. I may have to incorporate a few of his other styles. I'd hate to have to play against him cause you can see he's good. Tilt's 1st win!
Great FT ended HU with Poker Alice. Good ole Tilt made his first win!! Woo Hoo! Yesterday 2nd in Guava, today 1st in Surf! Big props to NSXT2 and all the regular P5er's for great discussions on this board and helpful info to improve the game!!

I watched TJ play craps last year and he knows the odds on the bets and the payouts once the dice land faster than the table person. If he lost a fortune playing craps it certainly wasn't for lack of knowledge on the game. It was very impressive. Tilt

I'm no fool, but I'd imagine these guys are smart enough to be making some coin to cover costs and then some with the promotions they do with online sites. Also, they seem to do cross marketing with , etc. Great site, well done, great community but I don't think they need charity donations from players. Hate Da Bubble
But always play to win. 2nd time this week a 2 outer catches on the riv to bust me out 34 in the Dise 30k Masters. But, I played to win and next time my hands will hold up and because I played with patience and solid poker, was able to be in a position to win. I'm sure you've been there but try busting out 3 or less spaces from the money on 4 of your last 7 tours. 3 of 4 of those busts were lesser hands catching the river. No joke, not bad beats but come from behind wins... That will drive your patience out the window.

Had no idea I was in the tour. Checked Paradise before leaving the house to attend a pool party with great weather and the table popped up. Hilarious. Played for an hour then tossed all my chips in with 88. Didn't want to end up like Rhoadedog....

If they do it anyway like last year, they said a cap at 2000 then bumped it to 2500 and ended at 2675 or so. Basically, expect them to go over the 6600 by about 10-15% if the draw becomes that large, so it could get up to 7200-7500. I'll be in Vegas first week of June for the early events and I'm sure if they haven't posted it already they will have the current total of registered players in the Main posted and maybe Cal, Adam and the boys can have a running counter for us on the top of the site...

Forgive me if I'm wrong here, but isn't this kind of a Bad Beat story'' I know my trash gets moved over to the Bad Beat section pretty quick. Young Jedi Master, a good practice that I have taken up is posting or reviewing MY bad plays and to never repeat my painful bad beat stories onto others. They do not help your mental state. I did not get this for a long time, but it's true. I don't read Bad Beat posts, saw that this one wasn't going away and had to comment.
