I might be worth your while to get one, if you have time. 50 years from now you don't want to be what it would have been like to take a day tour of Hong Kong. Paid 100% on Players Only... about 6 weeks total I jusst received my last 2 checks by currier today. I have now been issued all of the $1800 + i cashed out. The total time was about 6 weeks. I have to take this opportunity to appologize to Adam and the staff at Players Only for sweating them in any way. The Players Only staff did their best to get me these checks. They were straight with me about what was happening, even if it was not what i wanted to hear. Props to that site. Now i am happy to go back and play regularly there. I like that setup a lot. Re(2): OMG: Justice Department Letter without being too rude, I would ask them how they got access to your private financial information, as it is supposed to be confidential. Likely they got the information from the company that issued the check. I am sure that the authority stems from the Patriot Act, which gives the feds essentially the right to do whatever they want to your civil liberties, as long as it is done in the name of "freedom". Players Only Does Not pay out WD's, 6 weeks later The only conclusion that i can come to is that i am not getting paid. I put my money in, won $1800 cashed out June 5, got confirmation, account showed WD, no cash, no e-mail saying my cash is coming, just half hearted assurances on this site that i will get paid. Players in working on a way to get me my money. Should that not have been considered before taking the money. Adam and the fives staff should be ashamed at letting this scam site advertise here. Players Only ... 6 weeks, $1800 cashout not here, WTF i would not reccomend that anybody put money into Players Only. It appears to be a scam. i have not been comforted by anything said or done to this point. i am very disappointed at Pocket Fives for supporting a scam of a site. What else can you say about not getting paid. I won the $1800 fair and square, haven't sniffed the check. Told by everybody at Players Only that things are fine, Adam says he got his money. I made 3 wd requests for 700, 500, 600, give or take. I received a wd receipt in about 30 seconds on each. I still have not heard anything on e-mail since. i gave customer service the benefit of the doubt on 15 business days. I tried to e-mail, got returned. Players Only Poker... Still no check 3+Weeks Ok, so I posted earlier about not getting my checks. I still have not received them, or any word from customer service. Somebody from Players Only responded to my first post, and it was classy, and seemed straightforward, but words is just words when you are owed $1800+ for over 3 weeks. Stars should have some type of additional pop-up that is triggered when a player is registering for a tournament that is unlike the others they have EVER played. BR no problem when maintained online, and the money from winnings always made it into my bank account. Just don't have the experience managing a cash money roll. Poker Player Makeover.. I need big help OK, Here it goes. I am laying it all out on the table. Hopefully, this will be the first step towards a new goal. 1. I don't know how to classify myself as a player. I think I am Good, my results leave much to be desired. However, i do have at least functional skills (or found a couple amazing runs of luck) to get some credential cashes. My biggest accomplishment so far has been winning the Party $40k in Sept for 8K, party for 2.5k in sept. also. Questions need answered i guess the overall point, even if not clearly stated is that the gov't will make it impossible at some point to cash checks from poker destinations. Just because it hasn't happened yet is not an argument. The Feds sure seem to have US Banks scared, and all the major players in online poker finance have been shut down. It would not be hard for the Feds to put enough pressure on the US Banks to stop the cashing of poker checks. I am aware that they are not issued by Stars, but flagginng whatever institution issued the check should not be a problem. I have seen them come from a Bank in Fla. ... US funds "safe" at pokerstars? Questions need answered This is a scare post. Those with their heads firmly entrenched in sand need not respond. To them hope is ruling over logic. People will start to have serious problems getting their e-money off sites (not worth shit until converted). The options, for deposit and withdraw are constantly changing. At some point soon, if you do not get your money out somehow, you will be faced with losing it completely, or physically going to the Pokerstars bank to get your money. $50 VISA Gift card DECLINED .... We are kidding ourselves if we believe that it is not over. Pokerstars say they keep all players money segregated. Guess what happens to a check that has been issued, and for whatever reason, not cashed. I wouldn't want a check from stars right now. Good thing I live in Vegas.
