3-handed advice
Just wanted to know if anybody knows of good articles or has good advice themselves about 3 handed FT play. I usually go fine with any other amount of players at the tables except for 3 handed, especially deep stacked. I try to play a lot from the Btn, but u start to get 3b a lot eventually. Then I seem to either tighten up too much or 4bet at the wrong time.

Sensible fold or just being timid.
I believe that a reraise pre with the tens is a good idea. 1, to be in control of the hand, and 2, to find out where u are at, ESP seeing as though u r on the button. And then cbet that flop 100% because of how dry it is,( if he raises there, u can fold ) then u have the option of checking the turn for pot control because u r the aggressor in the hand. Hand number 2, I agree with the other guys really. Shove pre maybe ( you might be better off taking a look at a shove chart online somewhere tho, to make sure thats the correct move). Maybe cbet a little more on flop and turn, closer to 50% ...

Tough spot with QQ
I don't have the exact chip counts, just remembered a difficult spot I had the other day. It was 15/30 level of $55 MTT on stars, no reads on players. UTG (6000ish) opens for 90 then UTG+2 (3000ish) raises to 300, hero on button(3000) with QQ.....' My line of action at the time was allin. After thinking about it, in my opinion I think I should of folded. I think flatting is wrong because if UTG shoves, I waste 300 chips without flop to early in the game, and what flop am I going to hope for if he flats' They most likely have AA/KK/JJ/TT/AK/so I'm only going to be happy with a set, ...

Did I stuff this up or was it just gonna happen anyway???
I think maybe a preflop raise to around 4200, then about 60% on that flop. Then it depends what he does from there. You were unlucky for him to hit the flop like that, and I'm not sure I would get away from it, especially with a 9 turn, and only being 30bb deep at the start of the hand. I definately think a smaller bet on the flop next time. You want to give the villain a chance to bluff for extra value. You want to give them a chance to put chips in the pot even when they miss the flop. I know that time they flopped a full house, but that isn't going to happen very often. You probably didn't ...

Should I quit my job yet?
Thanks heaps for the genuinely good advise. I didn't want soft responses, so thx heaps. I was never going to leave work with only an 8k roll, but I just needed to know at what point u go ok I'm ready. I think I have a pretty good figure worked out now to achieve before I leave. It consists of around 4-6 months wages that I'm used to now and maybe a 10k bankroll' ...... Thoughts'

Should I quit my job yet?
I have started playing more frequently over the last three months, around work hours, and have had some decent results in mtts. I'm just not sure at what point i should leave work and give poker a shot. After taking some money out of my account for bills etc, I have an 8k bankroll. I have been playing a bit above what I should considering my bankroll, but because I haven't had to rely on it to survive, I decided to take a shot at a few higher games. Feel free to check my results, and give me some feedback. Even some advise about at what point you decided to take your shot at playing full ...
