Need help on Stars
So I am currently away from home and cannot open stars. I have sent them the requested log files to help but I have a feeling that there is a gambling filter on the server. Is there any way at all to bypass this security that would allow me to acces stars / recieve the latest download. I have'nt tried anything yet but perhaps proxy avoidance sites may help. Thanks guys and feel free to fire as I'm willing to try anything to allow me to play the SCOOPS !!

Monitors verse Big Screen tv?
I don't want an arguement about the infinate details of electronics specs royal. As a fairly vague opening post I thought the op may benefit from my limited knowledge in this matter as I do indeed have 2 lcd tv's as monitor's. I posted my opinion on tv's as monitors and the op responded. The fact that a monitor with a crazy high resolution performs better than a lower resolution tv is unquestionable... I merely wanted to try and let the op know that the quality on the vast majority of modern tv's is more than acceptable. You are clearly upset about this. I apologise. I did ...

Monitors verse Big Screen tv?
Like I said , don't be afraid to go for the 42" but it is ABSOLUTELY cruical that the resolution is as high as you can find it. Most tv's these days are HD and will say in the specs 1080p .... these are fine as the 1080p means a resolution of 1920 x 1080. I also made sure the computer had an adequate graphics card ( I upgraded my new comp's ) so that it had two HDMI output's , I then just simply bought some high end HDMI cables and hooked it all up. There are alternative outputs such as VGA from computer's which can be "crossed over" to HDMI but after ...

Monitors verse Big Screen tv?
I had the same line of thinking as you and decided to try out tv's as monitors. I run dual 32" lcd tv's as my monitor's. This allows me to sit much further away and the quality of the picture is no different to the best "30 monitors out there. As mentioned previously the most important thing is resolution, mine are 1920 x 1280 and I can comfortably 9 table (and at a stretch 12 table) with only a little overlap whilst sitting further away from the screens. The greatest benefit to this setup imho is that if like me you often have friends / relatives round who enjoy ...

Has this happened to you or seen this happen? This is the first time ever I've seen this happen.
Grovesnor UK Poker Tour side event Aberdeen June 09'. I flopped top set over set over set :D:D with 13 players left and went on to win :D Was even more sick as there was actually a mistake from the big stack when he bet out of turn with excitement :P. Naturally I hollywooded him .... and after humming a haaa'ing announced "ok, I guess I gotta go all in then" he super snap calls saying " I gotta set, I gotta set " fist pumping. The shortie that was also all in was like "wtf I also got a set" which on the flop of 5 8 K inevitably told him he was beat....... ...

What is Your Worst FT Bubble Experience
I have two excruiciating experiences. Both occurred a good while ago when to be honest the money meant too much to me as I was in a poorly paid job and was playing waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond my roll. The first was deep in the 100r , I think there was 12/13 left and I am second in chips, coasting to decent score and pick up AA on button. The bb is the CL and shove's 60bb with A8o ...... obv the flop is 888 and I am drawing dead ...... GG keyboard , hello pub and 4 back to back pints = drunk in 15 minutes. The second is obviously hard to top ... there are again 12/13 left in nightly 100 ...

I really can't understand how he calls 55 rebuy
I actually like your line ..... up until the turn :( I have personally seen this exact spot soooooo many times deep in tourneys where the implications of my aggression and decided line/size of my c bets can "commit me" to the hand due to pot size in relation to my stack. Obviously our stack is not rendered useless after these type hands but they are clearly very hurtful (in some cases with me personally they have directly affected my chances due to being pissed that they find the "call" / mild tilting :O ) I therefore promised myself that in such spots I will follow ...

Full Tilt Bank Wire
I presume that you are talking about the Direct Bank Transfer option (The bank "wire" option is for cashouts of $20k or over). Although I am from the UK I am sure the US customers options will be similar and indeed I have used both. The information I required for the Direct Bank Transfer was also a little new to me but as above ^^, I merely looked at my statements and phoned the bank to ask exactly what Tilt was looking for (in my case swift and BIC codes) and tried them out. They are without doubt the best option available to me for cashouts from FTP and the money was in my account ...

Full Tilt withdrawals for UK customers.
Thanks for the input guys, I got a little further with Full Tilt's support (still nowhere near as good as Stars) but they answered a few of my queries. I have done an experimental withdrawal using the bank wire option and will see how efficient it is, Tilt assures me it's a good service and if indeed it takes only the standard 3-5 days then it could be very good. Spraggs is however right, it looks like i'm going to have to digital photograph/scan - send a photograph (lock up your daughters) :P and a bank statement/utility bill to re-activate my neteller account as it is a very ...

Full Tilt withdrawals for UK customers.
Hi guys, I live in the UK and am wondering what the best option is for large-ish withdrawals on Full Tilt are ' Our options seem to be limited regarding transfers back to my prefered deposit option (Visa) as they only allow one transaction per day and a weekly limit of $5000 ''!' I e-mailed support@ regarding these options but only recieved a confirmation e-mail and then another e-mail - that was a copy of the original e-mail I sent them .... ugh !' (I will continue trying to contact them). I also see that there is an option for international / Local bank transfers and think this may be the ...

$55 on Stars for help !!
I am a computer n00b and I am looking for help with regards to a new set-up. I have decided to get 2 "32 LCD TV's wall mounted as oppose to dual monitors. I understand the basics of what I require eg. 1920 x 1080 resolution for multiple tables but other than that I have limited n00b knowledge. So basically in this thread I will ship $55 on Stars to the person I deem to have given me the most helpful info. My biggest question is : what is the best connection from PC to LCD ' I know there are many eg. HDMI, VGA, S-Video, D-Sub - but I believe you can lose resolution scope if the ...

Baaallller Monitors Questions??
Hi guys, I am looking into a new setup but have some queries for the computer/monitor experts. I suffer from conjunctivitis alot due to long hours grinding :O and want to get some large monitors to help solve this. I would like to get 2 Samsung Lcd TV's (32" or 37" not sure yet) but wonder if the picture on these will be as crystal clear as my computer monitors' I understand that the resolution is key (1920x1080 should be ok for multiple windows on screen') but other than this I really am not sure :( Any information on playing multiple tables on Lcd TV's , window ...
