Still, everybody on this site who is attacking him is doing so out of envy, thats all. (And they know it). Posted in: Poker Community |

Re(1): We must have a few business/banking lawyers that could parse this for us I've read through it, and it looks like it overlaps with the Goodlatte bill. The gist of it is that your bank cannot transfer money to a poker site or to any third party used to get money to the gambling site. Remember this though. If the bill becomes law, poker sites will not accept US customers and neither will businesses like firepay or neteller. The only way you will be able to get around this is to create a foreign bank account and a foreign identity. I know how to do the bank account, but the identity will be a problem. It is very expensive to create a foreign bank account. Basically, ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): What Really Happened... Maybe somebody can clear this up for me, but wasn't Party considered to be one of the safest sites out there' They shut my account down because one day a friend of mine logged into HIS account frommy computer. Poker Stars and UB have much weaker security I think. I'd like JJ to state what other sites he did this on and whether he did it in sit n gos. Are ranked players using 10 accounts in the UB $200 and $500' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Good bye all Beanie is right, most of us would be better off if we quit. What was once a fun thrilling game became a tedious chore that more often than not makes me very angry. I believe the problem for me started when I started winning big in late 2004. Then it became a second job. I ended 2005 with a $5K mtt win. I have lost that in six weeks, just playing $50 sng and mtt. It got so bad, that I considered selling my computer on Ebay and cancelling my internet. A bad run can break an otherwise solid player. You are not the only one, trust me. I have also quit online poker, and it feels so damn good. I ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Cardrunners-Is it worth it? Im pretty high, after a night of playing cards at the casino, and this thread is hilarious. Its like one of those informercials for an Ab Toner or some shyt. "Wow, this product is great. Thank you Ab Toner!" What a fake thread. Cardrunners guys, you certainly can afford advertising, right' Why be fake' Im picturing Green Plastic writing all these fake posts, and it is pretty damn funny, almost as funny as that fake "The Beat" guy. Re(5): Mastering the luck involved in poker Adam, I think you are missing the point. Nobody is saying that certain players exist in a state of being lucky. (At least Im not saying that). All I am saying is that luck or "chance" is a very important part of this game. If you agree with the position that you cannot win a MTT without getting "lucky" at least once, then how can you say there is no luck( chance)' Some people refuse to acknowledge the luck factor because they feel it does not fit with the right winning attitude. That's cool, but it is dishonest. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Ok, enough about bax getting lucky... Adam is on record as saying that you have to get lucky to win an MTT, but that there is no luck involved in poker. I understand what Adam is driving at, and he has a good point. It is true, that mathematically, luck does not exist. See, the guy who wins the powerball is not lucky, he was just the 1 in one billion who won. It's just math. But you see, you kinda miss the point when you think like that. Who here has ever won an MTT without getting lucky' Without getting your money in as a dog and sucking out' "Luck" is a factor in poker, whereas it is not a factor in chess. Those who say there ... Re(5): Mastering the luck involved in poker Obviously Tuan Le is a great player. Nobody doubted that. But, how many other great players played in the wpt championship' What set them apart' The cards, yes' Luck' Trying to say that luck does not exist in poker is just a silly as saying skill does not exist. The two exist side by side. So, you win one in 100 tourneys. What is different in the one tourney than in the other 99' Luck. Yes no' You could play the best chess player in the world and never win. You could play Phil Ivey and win. Or are you saying poker is like chess' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Mastering the luck involved in poker Luck isn't important in poker. Chris Moneymaker, Tiffany Williamson, Tuan Le, they are skilled. The fact that they get their money in with the worst of it and win, is just their determination and preparation meeting opportunity. Next time I raise with AA and get called by 89 and lose, I will say not that the opponent is lucky, but that he is skilled, determined, prepared, and opportunistic. You guys are retarted. Of course luck is huge in poker. BRsavage, a great player, is fond of saying you have to get lucky several times to win an MTT. Chew on that. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Dealing With an Addiction I can totally relate to you, and so can others. This game can become a drag, even when you are winning. You know you shouldnt be playing poker right now, so gather up some will power and quit. Believe it or not, for every champ here, there are hundreds or thousands who are headed for bankruptcy due to online poker. If your life is in a rut right now, stay away, it will kill you. Odds Question My friend and I play at a local bar on Friday nights. There are many who are fish there. We got talkin about a math problem related to last night's game. Im no good at the math. If you wind up all in pre flop with A-Ko against 7-2o three consecutive times, covered all three times, what are your odds of being alive at the end of the third showdown' 1st showdown- (YOU)67% vs. 33% (covered) 2nd showdown- (YOU)67% vs.33% (covered) 3rd showdown- (YOU)67% vs. 33% (covered) What are your chances of being alive now' Posted in: Poker Discussion |
