set Vs. 2 pair [/QUOTE] I know A 10 is marginal but really.... I flopped top 2 pair.... Yes check min says Strength but top 2 is Pretty strong after flop... My read said A 10 played well against range preflop... the 3 bet is where i missed ... I should never call here either fold or 3 bet... Working on filling that HOLE. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

set Vs. 2 pair Thanks for that it never occured to me to 3 bet preflop I guess that would've been much better... three bets and when to effectively use them is still a work in progress for me.... is there any literature out there somewhere that I can look into' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

set Vs. 2 pair Is there any way I lose less money here or is this just "That's Poker" ... I kmow I could've folded A 10 here but this guy was VERY AGGRESSIVE and I felt range was so Large that A 10 played very well against his..... I don't see how I get away from top 2 here... Huge cooler or did I play KK wrong? I guess U could have repopped it preflop with the Kings but just flat calling isn't that bad action wise... After you flopped a boat and he flopped a set, Neither one of you were going ANYWHERE... Dan Harrington said "If I go broke with a set I just Go Broke" The Money was going to get all-in... Cooler in that instance IMO Posted in: Bad Beats |

I mean I guess I am just confused... "sounds like your mostly confused by the post flop call he made" So Post flop he made a standard play even though he had third pair I mean how many hands is he losing to' I just thought with 3rd pair he was gambling to much... My misunderstanding may be my problem.... I guess I just Don't understand what you are meaning... It is 3rd pair. To much of a gamble for tourney life I would think... this may be my flawed thinking Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I mean I guess I am just confused... So after he Bets I should 3 bet Shove here'' Doesn't that create same problem' I think He calls shove pre if he will call with 3rd pair as he did. I think this is a BAD play and I guess I don't understand how what he did is acceptable... Do you think he folds 77 to a preflop shove'' It may be that is where I am falling down. Thanks for insight Posted in: Poker Discussion |

How is this bad?? Yes That is what I thought but this guy stayed for like 5 minutes just going off.... I thought it was a no brainer That is why I moved all-in instead of just flat because I wanted Water to go away... Once Water goes away I think I am winning most of the time and I I am up against AC Jx I still feel like I have outs but most of the time i will be winning so play seems pretty standard to me Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I think this is HORRIBLE by him ... am I wrong'' Please anyone help with Advice... My thinking here may be what is my short coming and why I don't advance to winning just cashing... Standard Fold Even With 10bbs? Really need more info on players and images U feel they have... given this scenrio as is I say FOLD and wait for a better opp. I guess though you could make a fold decision off the fact that mid stack has reraised stack that has them covered so they probably have a hand that you are flipping against at best... imo Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I don't know??? I am asking for a fresh set of eyes to look at hand and see if It could've played differently.... I think the money goes in ... but should it have went in preflop... I want some feedback on my bet size... if I move in is that a better play'' I had been playing with this guy about 45min. when this hand happened. He had played 6 hands in that time... I am keeping notes in book so I refered back to see . The only hand that he played that went to showdown he won with 10 10. I am looking for a fresh perspective.... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
