Re:Finally Coming Clean
I finished 2nd in the Stars Sunday Million on 11-25-2007 to Got t!lt. This was the biggest score of my life, and my proudest poker moment. Got t!lt, on the other hand, was a losing player until the week before when he also made the final table of the Stars Million. You have just admitted to playing under this account. Do you care to humor me and deny playing under that account when it won the Stars Million' I would have liked to know I was playing JJProdigy and not some random donk (not unlike myself) as we battled head to head for $250,000

Re:Is my Laptop Busto?
Thanks, the laptop is about 10 months old, so I am assuming it's worth replacing. I bought it direct from HP, so it may have a 1 year hardware warranty. Thanks again

Re:Anyone else tilted by this Kobe interview?
He just got busted for having an affair with an 18 year old cheerleader too. No one wants to report the story, since there is yet to be any hard evidence and they don't want to piss Kobe off. But and some other blog sites have been talking about it.

Re:Bodog Poker to Run Mini-SOP Starting May 30
Sounds like a cool idea. Perhaps, they should raise the buy in on a couple of the tourneys. i.e. The $10,000 WSOP events should have $200-500 buy ins.

Re:Dear Bodog Players
A couple more suggestions. As I mentioned earlier I like the 3 table max. On the otherhand, bodog needs to start taking care of its regular players by offering incentives. There are two main things the site is lacking. First, they need to offer incentive to play. 25,000 poker points for $250 is ridiculous, it is like getting 1% rakeback. They need to either offer merchandise or make poker points worth more cash. As someone who can swing thousands of dollars in a day, $250 doesn't do much for me. It would feel much more rewarding to have to spend the points on merchandise. I would much ...

Re:Dear Bodog Players
As a limit cash game player who has played there for 4 years, I can't believe how many people want the ability to play more than 3 tables. The cash games are already dead because there is the same regular sitting at every higher limit table. If the same people can sit at 8 tables the site will be dead. At a site where everyone knows everyone, I think the limit is a good thing. I would rather not have the pokerstars regulars coming over to 8 table the softer games at bodog.

Re:WISCONSIN players - How do you deal w/ not being able to deduct losses?
I am pretty sure in Wisconson as in michigan, for the state tax return you cannot deduct gambling losses. You basically get screwed on the state return. Also, you are not suppose to net your win's/ losses. i.e. I won 45k in live games and lost 10k online. Records are suppose to be kept session by session, and not netted against one another

15-30 and 20-40 rarely got going when i used to make the drive. Although I agree they were relatively soft games. If this is not the case, and they actually run these games frequently, let me know as it would make the drive worthwhile.

Verizon Wireless Broadband
Does anyone have this'''' I currently have DSL throughout my apartment complex in East Lansing, Michigan. During peak hours my internet here is terrible. I play mostly on bodog and it lags like crazy, timing me out frequently. All i want to be able to do, is run Instant Messanger, Bodog, and Internet Explorer at the same time without lagging, do you think the broadband will allow me to do this' Thanks guys. Tom Solomon

Re(1): NewBodog.com IS LEGIT!
What happened is the guy sued bodog, for patent infringement. Something completely unrelated to the name . Bodog either a) ignored the lawsuit because they believed the US court did not have jurisdiction or b) Were not comfortable sending representatives on US soil to fight the litigation. Since no rep's from Bodog appeared in court the judge had no choice but to issue a default judgement against Bodog. Bodog has not paid the winning party their $$, so in turn the winning party was able to win control of their domain . Until Bodog settles this lawsuit, this guy will be capable of taking the ...

Computer Guys
I am looking to find a good deal on a laptop. All I am looking for is a laptop I can play poker on, I don't need any software or anything. I imagine I can find a better deal on the internet somewhere then I can get at Best Buy. In the past I have always bought Dell's, my last Laptop was a HP, but broke in 5 months and wasn't worth fixing. If anyone knows where I could find a good deal I would appreciate it.

Re(2): Limit Hold'em Question - BB
IMO, A lot of this is 100% wrong. "My opinion, play the BB hands like you would if you had limped into a pot and a late position raised - you may want to call with some hands, but would you have limped in with J7' Q5'" You would never limp a hand like 9T or QT, but I would always defend my BB with these hands. "My summary: toss the BB more often than not and chalk it up as a loss. You will always lose money over the course of a lifetime in the blinds, so why contribute more than you have to'" Because there are a lot of marginal hands you can defend out of the BB profitably. If you start ...

Re(1): Limit Hold'em Question - BB
This post and advice seems to be completely bass ackwards. If you are in the BB with ATC, and facing a raise in a .25-.5 limit game, chances are the raiser isn't trying to steal the blinds. He almost always has a top 15 hand. Therefore, if you are in the BB with a raggity hand and the pot is laying you just 3.5:1, it is usually correct to fold. If the raiser has an overpair you are anywhere from a 6:1-4:1 underdog. If the Raiser has 2 overs you are anywhere from 2.5-2:1 dog. The problem is when you employ a strategy of calling down when you catch a piece of the flop, the player in position ...
