Re:Stars grinders to answer your question OP, no they are not equivilant. The best deal for FPPs is the 250K FPPs $4k bonus which makes 1 FPP = .016 cents. If you bought the 100K FPP $1500 bonus, 1 FPP = .015 cents. You get the point. Those $50 bonuses are really bad value and I wouldn't waste your time on them. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

6m Cash player looking to talk to SNG regs I'm a 6max cash game player looking to possibly switch to donk-n-gos.. I'm looking for some solid players to talk to who have experience.. ideally, if theres a sng player looking to transition to cash games, we could help each other.. Although I dont play as seriously as I did about 2 years ago (ton of volume @ 200/400nl) i still am very experienced in 6max cash micro-small/med. stakes and would def be a big help to someone switching over. basically just looking for someone to be on my aim list that i could randomly IM w/ questions lol. anyway, feel free to PM or hit me up on AIM, sn ... Re:Don't laugh.........advice wanted! thats a tiny sample, but after ~30-40k hands, you should not be losing at those stakes. anyone who understands just the bare basics and fundamentals of NLH should be crushing the shit outa these games, and you shouldnt experience bad variance here because the style you should be playing should be that of a low variance. some people just dont have the patience for those stakes, if thats you, than just consider playing 25NL if you can deposit some more, or if you can re-depo a new roll if u bust. get on a training site. Re:Pokerstars Super Nova Status VS Fulltilt Rakeback i can't see any concievable way that you will hit hit supernova in those games unless you put in a ridiculous amount of voulme. I hit SN in April, and i was playing 18-20 tables mainly 100nl, some 200 (6max) mixed in. I think i played like 250K hands. Pokerstars vip program is really awesome, and WAY better than any rakeback deal you can get, but u have to put in sick volume. The cash players who put in quite a bit of volume, play a ton of tables are the people they were thinking of when they designed the program. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:? For Cake Players Re:Gold Chips/Cards Of course not... you realize if you collect every gold card in the current series, you get like 55K or something like that, not 100% sure if they still do that, but im assuming they do. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:any veterinarians? Please take the dog to the vet first thing in the morning, or have someone else do it... If for whtever reason, you can't afford to pay for it, (u shouldn't have a dog to begin with) but see if you can find an emergency clinic. I'm not trying to be a dick or suggest that u dont have money or something, i just really hate to see dogs suffer and shit happens so much. gl - hope hes ok Posted in: Off Topic |

Re:? For Cake Players Re:Gold Chips/Cards I was a regular for a while 100 and 200nl, and AFAIK, if you play 50NL - you will get the most gold cards. back when i played - the GC500 the guys winning that money every week were nl50 grinders. i think i have a collection of ~360 gold cards frmo 2008 series and i played there for about 5 months, a ton of volume...had to leave cause the software tilted the shit outta me - playing 9 tables for an hour w/o errors, that gay white screen, or that BS where you can't reload was like exciting. its annoying that i raelly couldn't multi table the amount i wanted/was optimal for me, and not ... Re:2/5NL At the Mohegan Sun I know 3-4 2/5 regs from foxwoods who play at mohegan. i would say that compared to medium stakes NL online, yes its super soft. most live cash games have a ton of fish and just shitty regs, but i would assume theres most def. some solid regs simply due to the proximity of foxwoods and mohegan. Re:Turning Full-Time Professional Today i find it really odd that you said that you and everyone else who graduated in your class w/ a BA in accounting cannot find jobs. Accounting is one of the fields within the business division that you should be able to find plenty of jobs. I dont know what school you went to/how good of a school it is, but my gf just graduated last week from Fordham University w/BA in accouting and shes already had like 6 job offers since like febuary . everyone she knows in her class in that field are pretty much all set w/ jobs after the summers over unless they are going for their MBA. Re:asses my play? I didn't look closely enough at bet sizes, but they seem fine. with no reads, i would c/call turn, and probably c/call river. as played, The river shove was pretty thin, and unless you knew your opponent was a huge spew tard that calls it off light, i would probably just check behind. im not a sng player, but i would imagine at least some of your opponents would take the same line with Jx, where x is less than or equal to 10. the fact that all the draws missed should be even more indication that there is little to no value in betting here, as you are never getting called by worse, but i ... Re:There are a few good people out there... First off, I highly highly doubt that any relatively normal person would actually feel guilty about cracking AA with KK, shit happens all day, any of you who put in a lot of hands at cash would know, its really not a big deal at all.. it happend, its over, you move on. You will end up on the good side of variance as well as the bad. seems to me this guy sent you the money, not because he felt bad about the situation or that he was hoping it'd be good karma.. but that he just felt bad for you that you got so upset over something a completely standard hand that happens all the god damn ...
