Vanessa Rousso I'd definitley have to hit it. I go el busto Had one wackoff call off half his stack to chase a gutshot and I go el busto. Hop in another game wackoff number 2 puts me all in on a gutshot I have trips he hits I shit el busto again. Got deep in a tourney hop on a new table so wackoff 3 has no history on me and he calls my 3 bluffs for my whole stack on a paired board with 3 spades only to show me a 6 with a 4 kicker I go el busto. How to detect a set? I have recently been playing 2/4 NL and have been doing pretty well overall but have noticed my leaks have been with losing big pots when having overpairs to sets. I have noticed that more people at this level just fire out at the pot with a set even if there are no draws on the flop. Is it better as a rule to always reraise preflop with a big pair' I try to do a little of both and not be predictable but lately I have ran into a lot of sets and think that it might just be best to reraise and take it down there. Getting a bad rap for being a poker player. I think its a bit unrealistic to think you will have it all back in a week no problem. Its like you are setting yourself up for an early tilt if things don't go your way immediately. If you stay in your bankroll it will likely take much longer than that. Running bad for an entire year.....possible? I would have o agree that you could run bad for that long. I think about it like this. I have had some incrediblely bad years or even two years in my lifetime. During these times bad luck and bad things were all that there were. Now I also have to admit that during these times I came to expect it and it became somewhat of a self fulfilling prophecy. Bad luck surely seems to feed on itself and its not entirely explainable but all things in life are not. One other thing that I have often wondered is this.
