Re:Hand/Range discussion Sunday Major Titan 300+20 Close to final table Hi, Thanks for all the responses. The holdings were: Raiser had 22 (which was actually me, thought switch hands for posting) He actually called my 144k bet on the river with A7 of spades... he only had a blufed beaten since 7 on the A99 board has no real kicker The reason I bet turn and river was to represent the Ace. I also thought that the Ace on the board must have scared him off and that he probably had a high pocket pair. I think if he had ak or aq he would have actually bet the flop (except AA). Also i was somewhat sure that he was not reraising me with crap. So with the check of ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Hand/Range discussion Sunday Major Titan 300+20 Close to final table Good response ... I think aq is def. in his calling range, maybe even aj oder at ... I mean shoving aq into the reraise seems too risky (especially considering we are the top stacks for a 60k first prize and FT is close). The reraise was also not too much so there might be some well connected/suited cards in the calling range to ... even though it is out of position. I personally would pretty say it has to be aq - maybe even ak. The check of him on the flop could be for me to c-bet. If he hed led out on the flop .... hands like kk qq jj may have folded ... so letting me c-bet gives him the ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hand/Range discussion Sunday Major Titan 300+20 Close to final table last two tables of Titan 300+200 ...around 900 players ... already down to 6 or seven handed Blinds are something like 6k/12k with 1k ante; Average chip count about 230k ... have about 580k and am top 3. First place pays 60k, 10th 3k, 11th-20th 2.1k Utg+1 position raises to 28k (Second in chips with 630k or so) I reraise with XX ... (gonna post hand later) to 63k from cuttoff with position on him He calls. Flop: Ac , 5d , 5h He checks, I check Turn: 9s He bets 60k into the 150k pot, I call River: 9h He bets 144k into the 270k pot So here are the two questions: What does he ... Re:This is a very interesting post...to say the least I don't know ... yes, he does not have to give any money to someone that "just" reminds him that he is sitting out. But given the fact that he agreed to the 25% transfer in case of shipping ... that is usually considered a contract in any business area that I know of. He should have just said thanks and not commented on the 25% - but agreed to the 25% (if "def" is not meant in a sarcastic way) - so he owes 25%. A totally different question is whether it is ok to ask for money for a reminder but given the situation ... that does not matter here. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Sorry - Reposted.. EPT Barcelona .... Ruling Question ... and probably the sickest play I have ever seen have been to the ept lately and saw a sick hand and would like to know your ruling regarding this hand. Some might know who i am talking about but I won't metion any names here. Smal blind fills up so it is Blind vs. Blind Flop: Ah Tc 7c check - check Turn: 9h Bet - call River: 4h small blind checks - bb bets 80k - small blind calls So now comes the intersting part. The BB says "good call" - then flashes one of his cards which is a king, then turns it back face down but does not show his second card. The player in the small blind wants to see both cards but the the ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Final Tble of 100k 100Dollar Rebuy ... Hand Discussion of Shove with 22 when 4 Handed @ the ICM calculation: I am not calling the utg push, I am actually the one who pushes so the TT+ does not fully reflect the situation correctly. The question that has been raise here already is ... whether or not I have FE. I still believe that a 19 BB push to a 4 BB UTG raise should have FE against any player that thinks about the situation. Anyone who says instacall .... is just not thinking it through. As I stated before: What are usually hands that would push 19 BB into the UTG raiser who is also chipleader' The range should usually be very tight and I would say that 380k would hurt ... Re:Final Tble of 100k 100Dollar Rebuy ... Hand Discussion of Shove with 22 when 4 Handed I see your points ... 4x BB raise looks strong ... but it does not like like aa, kk or qq ... to me it looks more like 88 - jj, aq, aj, at... something that does not really want to play a monster pot but is willing to call a short stack push. That was the reasoning behind my shove. Not sure, but if the second biggest stack shoves on me after a 4 times raise ... and he his not even in the sb or bb and thus has not need to be doing anything at all ... why would he be willing to do this' I would assume that a range of such a move would be ak, aq, qq, jj, tt ... i agree that it will not be aa or ... Final Tble of 100k 100Dollar Rebuy ... Hand Discussion of Shove with 22 when 4 Handed Hi guys, would like to know your opinion about the hand below (sorry for no HH, since it's a euro site) Tourney: 100k Guaranteed 100 Dollar rebuy, 470 Entrants - Places paid: 50 1st 25k 2nd 15k 3rd 8k 4th 6k Blinds: 10k/20k ante 2k Stacks: UTG: 760k Me: 380k SB: 160k BB: 180k UTG opens to 80k, I get dealt 22 and shove, since I am sure he would give me quite some respect for my hand and probably would not want to gamble against second biggest stack especially considering the massive payjumps. If he folds ... I would win about 32% of my stack. Question 1: What would be your calling ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:To all the one trick donkey no limit players! true ... although it seems that many do not even undestand what you are saying in your post. MTT's with big fields are just a freaking lottery ... yes, you may have an edge over the average Joe that knows a little bit how to play ... but tourney like the majors on Sunday with 20BB stacks are just crap. bet, steal, resteal, pushing all in and still having a 25%-40% chance to win ... that is the problem. And still there are so many that whine about flatter payout structures ... to get to the top 10% needs a lot of luck... yeah it is nice to have a monster cash when getting 2nd or 1st ... ... Hand from EPT Monte Carlo Main Event 10000 Euro ... Bluff Shove Hi, Situation: Blinds: 1200/2400 Antes 200 - 9 handed Average around 120k ... about 230 left ... first 88 got paid 20k Euros mp1 raises to 6000 (raised and reraised a lot) Stack about 300k mp2 reraises to 17000 (Stack about 105k) ... not a very great player, so I doubt that he reraises any two or low pairs or suited connectors. I am in the cutoff with a Stack of 155k and AK of spades and figured that I did not want to thow AK away but that another raise would not be good either and be somewhat exploitable. So plan was to flat call it and representing aces or maybe kk that were trying to ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

What do you think of those results? I'm just curious of what you guys think of this guy' 126 Tourneys played ..... seems like most of them must have been in October or at least he has not cashed much before that. WSOP ME ... How many will be left after day 3? Hi guys, since i might have some scheduling problems if I get deep...what do you think: how many players will be left after day 3 now that they have another blind structure and play less levels per day' Last year there was about 5% left (around 340 players). I am not even sure if the bubble will break on day 3 this year. 5 levels is a little short, 6 would be fine...will they maybe change it on short notice' Any experiences / thoughts' cheers Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Correct Push ... very deep in Sunday Million? SB to BB with QT? Hi, just wondering what you guys say, since all of my friends seem to disagree. Situation: Very deep in Sunday Mill on Stars (65 left out of 6700) ... 2 away from next pay jump (maybe 500 bucks or so extra) 2000 bucks alreday save. Blinds are 25000/50000 with antes I think 5000 It's folded to me in the SB (have 700k in chips, average is 1 Million) and the BB has 2.2 Million chips. I got dealt QT off. The pot is 120k (SB,BB+Antes) so I push all in...thinking that he would only call me with premium hands. He called with A8 off. Two Questions' 1) Did you like the push considering ...
