Re(5): Fulltilt down? For some reason, after closing the program, it remains running in windows. There are two solutions to getting the application running again - 1. ctrl-alt-delete will bring you to your Windows Task Manager. Click on the Processes tab and you will see FullTilt.exe in there. Highlight the application and click "End Process". Once this is done you will be able to open the application normally. 2. Reboot your computer. This is essentially doing the same thing, and might be easier for someone not very computer savvy. I've wondered why this still happens as they have to be aware of it by now, ... Re(6): 100k on bodog Spoke too soon. Second hand back from break, its folded to my TT in the SB, raise 3xBB to the big blind (big stack at table) who takes his time before putting me all in. I call, he turns over KK and by the river makes quads. Out in 168. GL to everyone still in. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Should I call??? (Bodog sng) I'd fold and let the two shorter stacks battle it out. Regardless of the outcome, you are pretty much guaranteed a top two finish after the hand is done. If the button is willing to risk 2/3 of his chips (and you can assume the rest will be going in post-flop) with a shorter stack still at the table, I'd put him on a big ace (A9 and above in this scenario) or a halfway decent pair. Even if I read him to be stealing the blinds, there is now a caller ahead of me which brings the value of my ace-rag even further down. In a three-way pot with a raiser and all-in caller in front of me, I would be ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): What is more profitable Sng's or Cash games? In my personal experience, cash games are without a doubt where the steady money is at, although I incur much bigger swings in my bankroll playing NL ring then I do with SNG's. I'm far from an SNG specialist though, so you might want to hear from someone else on that side of things. Good luck in whatever you choose. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Top Ranked Advice Givers on P5 Thanks for the kind words, rashamba... Well first off, I'd like to say that I don't think of myself anywhere near the skill level of the other names mentioned in your post, but it's certainly what I'm working towards. As far as online experience goes, I started out with an instant bankroll and worked my way up to the 1/2 and 2/4 NL games, where I did well for quite some time and planned on moving higher when my roll allowed. Due to some bad bankroll management (vacations, shopping, etc) followed by a brutal downswing, I was forced to move back down in limits quite a bit, almost starting ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Question regarding suited flop Your opponent's play was horrible here, but unortunately your call wasn't much better.. With him coming over the top of your initial big bet, I would put him on a low made flush (possibly a low suited connector) unless I had some sort of read on him that would tell me otherwise. With no spades in your pocket, you would be drawing to 4 outs to make your boat. With 500 chips still in your stack and the blinds still relatively low (being early in the tourney) you can still sit back and play some poker before having to make an all-in move. Easy laydown in my opinion, although as it turns out, you ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
