As a PPA State Director last year I participated in the "Fly-in" where this point was made time and time again to elected officials of both houses and parties. Overall the response was decent, but politicians only react to two things - Money and Constituent Feedback, and not necessarily in that order. PPA tried to spread around the money (which they had), but was less successful in getting personal commitments from poker players. We have only ourselves to blame for being apathetic about the UIEGA. Agreed, they got too loose with the payment processors and then got too close to them, IMO. They're going to have a tough time beating the laundering issues. Join the PPA if you haven't already and pray they can help negotiate a deal to pay the fines and push a fight on the "skill vs luck" argument. The negotiated shutdown of a few months ago isn't looking so bad now.

Total # of entries - (remaining # players) X buy in - (remaining players X buy-in)= remaining prize pool to distribute. Mutlply by your percentage of the total # of chips in tourney (Your ending stack/(total # entries X starting stack) and that should be your share of the prize pool (plus your buy-in)

Here is the rules..... Occasionally, due to technical difficulties, a tournament may be cancelled. Depending on the tournament's status at the time of this cancellation, Full Tilt Poker will do the following: * If a tournament is voided before it starts - Players will have their buy-ins and fees returned in the same currency they used to enter the tournament (real money, tokens, etc.), unless they entered the tournament through a satellite, in which case they will be refunded the standard buy-in for the tournament. * If the tournament had not yet reached the money - All players still in ...
