Re(2): Window Vista
The biggest issues with Vista are; 1 - pop email accounts no longer work with Outlook (this is driving me crazy) 2 - the increased security features are very annoying as they request you to approve most applications that access the internet each time they launch (no memory feature for 'safe' programs) I do think on Stars I have a sound glitch, it's behind the graphics.. but play is fine and it all works, no issues.

Re(1): Window's vista on ftp
I just got a desktop w/ Vista.. while it looks pretty and all it definitely has some annoyances. I hate the fact that I need to approve every program before I launch it and that some I need to purposely configure to run as administrator. Also, why did they break Outlook from supporting hotmail, etc'' Don't they know their web based email is crap'' Windows Live better get a jump on enhancements..!!!! I haven't tried FTP yet, but PokerStars has worked fine for me. I sort of wish I stayed with XP as well.. ;-(

7-8 is normal even if 2-3 tabling. 20 is an issue.

Re(4): interesting very deep stacked 5/10NL cash hand
Villain must be somewhat passive as I am surprised he didn't try and take this pot from you after you called the rr. Check calling turn and river with top pair is pretty bad.

Re(2): question for gambler2k4
Higher winrates are not neccessarily in sync with higher standard deviations. LAG players and TAG players can have the same winrates/profits over x hands with different SDs.

Re(2): WTF do you do w/ AA here ?
Your flop bet should have been at least 20. His comment of 'glad I didn't raise before the flop' to me means he would have mucked to a reraise obv. I think he got there on the flush draw. I would have preferred you reraise on the flop and define your hand and shut down any draws. If he set you, so be it.

Re(2): Why are more people not on UB
That amount bug lives on Bodog also, very annoying. I personally don't like UB software at all and I don't like specifically that it doesn't have a 'show bet amount' option.

Re(2): Cash Game... What do you do with your top pair here?
The information you just pointed out about seeing him pay off with second pair is a reason to bet the turn, that is valid. That should be your thought. The main point is, if that is what you believe and another call is still potentially second pair (you should be breaking this up in to %'s for each scenario), why would you fold the river' If he knows you know he may have second pair and he knows you have a Q he knows that you will fold a Q to a shove as you will be asking yourself why would he be making this play with second pair (if he is a tricky player, although, it doesn't sound like he ...

Re(1): Cash Game... What do you do with your top pair here?
1 - limping with Q10 suited is a bad play, if you are going to play it, raise it 2 - there isn't much reason to bet the turn here 3 - fold is most of the time correct

Mods: How about a cash game forum?
Since the general discussion is primarily tournament based, I think this would help identify posts for people who are interested in cash game hands/situations specifically. I think this would add a lot to p5s. -trplthrt

Can you get UB to add 'show bet amount', i.e., dollar figure next to a bet/pot feature' I can't stand sites that don't do this.
